Error Code messages:
Error Code: HL | – there is a blockage, preventing water from circulating around the pump & heating system. The blockage can be caused by a dirty filter, a blocked impellor or limescale build up – especially if you live in an area with hard water.
This will cause a higher temperature reading being recorded than the temperature set. |
Check water flow: Check the flow of water from the filter outlet by placing your hand 6-8 inches away from the outlet. You should feel the water flowing through the outlet valve. If the flow rate is weak or non-existence or your pool is making a grinding noise, please follow the steps as follow:1) Ensure your filter is clean and doesn’t need replacing.2) The Filter cover should be rinsed under a tap to clean thoroughly.3) make sure the filter is not overtightened. If you have tried above, and your spa is not heated. please carry out following steps: 1. Turn off the heater and filter. 2. Remove the Filter cover and Filter. 3. Place the filter cover over the filter inlet and use an elastic band to hold the filter cover in place (to stop debris getting into the pump) 4. Press the ‘Heater’ button on and reset the temperature. 5. If the temperature begins to rise and maintains its temperature it is likely that your filter needs a replacing. |
Impellor Blockage or Debris
If a hot tub is used without a filter, or debris has been drawn into the motor it may cause the impeller within the water pump to seize. We advise following the below steps to check for problems. 1. Turn off the hot tub at the mains. 2. Drain the water from the hot tub. 3. Remove the filter and protective filter cover. 4. Perform a visual check of the outlet inside and out – check for anything that maybe obstructing the water flow. |
||
Limescale Blockage | ||
Many areas have hard water, causing limescale build up within home devices. We recommend you to conduct a descaling routine into your hot tub maintenance schedule:
1. Turn off the hot tub at the mains. 2. Remove the Filter and protective cover. 3. Place your garden hose pipe against the filter inlet hole and outlet holes. |
||
4. Run clean water through the system, helping to remove any debris or loose limescale.
5. Use a net to collect and eliminate any loose particles from the water. 6. To reduce the effects of limescale build up ensure that water descaler is used weekly to prevent scale formation and build up If you have carried out all steps above, and the problem still persists, please contact the customer service team who can arrange a repair. |
||
Error Code: SH | – Malfunction of the circuit board or the temperature sensor. | Please contact our customer service Team so that we can arrange a repair. |
Error Code: FC | The filtration system has worked for approx. 168 hours advising you to check your filter. The pump & heating buttons will be disabled. | – Make sure the filter is clean and change if necessary.
– Press ‘Filter’ button & the FC Error code will disappear. The water temperature will be displayed and all the functions will return to normal. |
Error Code: SL | – Blocked or dirty Filter
– Low Ambient Temperature. When the weather is cold, the SL code may appear. This is most likely due to the pipe and heater being too cold to function. |
– Make sure the filter is clean and change if necessary.
– Pouring some hot or warm water into the hot tub (either using a hot water pipe or buckets of hot/warm water). – Pouring some warm water into the top outlet |
An explanation to the manual reset button on the outer shell of hot tub:
