The upgraded, Auto version of the Blue Pure 211+ model features an integrated particle sensor, intuitive Auto mode setting, and 3-color LED air quality indicator.

Where is the best place to put an air purifier?

Placing your purifier near a window or close to a doorway is typically your best bet. Another reason to place purifiers near areas with a lot of airflow is that moving air has enough energy to lift dust, mold, and many other particles, which it can then distribute around your house.

Does the Blueair 211 auto have a HEPA filter?

Blueair’s HEPASilent dual filtration technology filters 99.97% airborne particles, like viruses and bacteria, dust, pollen, dander, and mold down to 0.1 micron, delivering more clean air, with less noise and energy used than HEPA filtration alone.

Do air purifiers use a lot of electricity?

Air purifiers do not use a lot of electricity. However, if used for a substantial amount of time, they can consume a considerable amount of electricity. As mentioned, the most common air purifier consumes 334.49 kWh of electricity per year. This assumes 16 hours in active mode and 8 hours in standby mode per day.

Do air purifiers cause sinus problems?

Headaches, sore throat, coughing, Asthma attacks, and difficulty breathing are a few of the symptoms that can be brought on by some air purifiers. Yes, that’s right. Your air purifier may actually aggravate many of the health issues you hoped it would solve.

How does Blueair auto work?

This dual filtration technology pioneered by Blueair combines electrostatic charging of particles and mechanical filtration along with a unique filter designed to produce more² clean air, cleaning your air much faster and more quietly³ than traditional HEPA filtration alone.
