General

  • To prevent damage or malfunctions: Please take time and read the general safety instructions. This will avoid fire, explosions, electric shocks or other hazards that may result in damage to property and/or severe or fatal injuries.
  • The manufacturer is not liable for cases of material damage or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or non compliance with the safety instructions. In such cases, the warranty will be voided.

WARNING

  •  This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. INSTALLATION

 Placing the appliance

  1.  Place the appliance in a room of 9 m2 or bigger.
  2.  Place the appliance close to an open door or win
  3.  Place the appliance on a horizontal flat surface.
  4.  Keep minimum (50 mm) space around the appliance for optimal ventilation.
  5.  Do not place the appliance near a heat source. This could damage the appliance.
  6. Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight.
  7.  Do not install the appliance where it could be subjected to:
  8. Mechanical vibration or shock
  9. excessive dust
  10. Lack of ventilation, such as cabinet or bookcase
  11. Make sure the air inlet and outlet are not blocked, or close to loose objects e.g. curtains.

 Filling the water tank

  •  Make sure the drain is closed while filling.
  •  Make sure the water does not go above the MAX level. Drain if necessary. 5 Make sure the water does not go below the MIN level.
  • Fill the top water tank with water.

 Adding ice packs
Ice packs can be added to provide extra cooling.

  1.  Add frozen icepacks to the top water tank.
  2.  Add water up to the max indicator.
  3.  Close the top water tank.

OPERATION

  1.  Press one of the fan speed buttons to switch on the appliance.
  2.  Press the cool button to start cooling.
  3. Do not press the cool button when there is no water in the water reservoir.
  4.  Press the swing button to swing the air flow.
  5.  Press the off button to switch off the appliance.

Storage

  1.  Unplug the power cable.
  2.  Drain the water from the appliance.
  3.  Clean the filter.
  4. Store the appliance in an upright position in a dry place.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  •  Turn the appliance off and remove the main plug out the socket before you start cleaning the device.
  •  It is not permitted to open the product yourself or to have it opened, neither is it permitted to repair the product yourself or to have it repaired. This will void the warranties. Let any maintenance be carried out by certified maintenance personnel.
  • Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft cloth. When the appliance is very dirty, dampen the cloth slightly with water and a neutral solution.

Draining the appliance

  1.  Carefully place the appliance above a sink.
  2.  Open the drain.
  3.  When the appliance is drained, close the drain.

Cleaning the filters

  1.  Remove the honeycomb filter from the appliance.
  2.  Rinse the honeycomb filter with water. If necessary, use a mild detergent.
  3.  Let the honeycomb filter completely dry before reïnstalling.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible cause Solution
The appliance does not switch on. The power cable is not connected correctly. Reconnect the power cable.
Honeycomb filter support is not installed correctly. Reinstall the honeycomb filter
The appliance runs with reduced capacity. The honeycomb filter is dirty. Clean the filter.
The air inlet is blocked. Unblock the air inlet. Check if the location meets the requirements.
The appliance produces odour. The honeycomb filter is new and can produce odour. No action required.
The honeycomb filter molds. Clean the filter.

CHARGER AND BATTERY

CHARGING THE SPEAKER

When charging, connect a matched power adaptor to AC100-240V.
Charging time is approximately 6 to 8 hours. Once fully charged unplug the power supply as leaving a full battery on charge may cause damage to the battery.

BATTERY CHARGE INDICATOR
  • LED panel has battery status indicator. In the middle of the shape of the battery have four horizontal lines, each horizontal line represents 25% of electricity remaining.
  • When no horizontal line in the shape of the battery or the shape fl ashes, please power of and promptly charge to avoid damage to the battery.
  • When charging, the battery indicator on LED display panel fl ashes. The indicator stop blinking after full charged.
  • Then please continue to charge the battery for 1-2 hours to extend the battery life.

WARNING!

If the battery is under voltage, please fully charge it within 48 hours.
If the speaker have to be left unused for a long time, please let the battery fully charged, otherwise it will cause damage to the battery.

    Start recording, long press to play the recordings.

    Change to previous song.
    Change to previous channel in FMRadio mode.

MICROPHONE CONTROLS AND BASIC OPERATION WIRELESS MICROPHONE

  1. Microphone ON/OFF
  2. Mute
  3. Light indicator

Open the battery compartment, insert batteries and ensure that the polarities are correct.
Switch ON the power switch on the microphone or ear microphone transmitters.
If the power indicator light does not light up, check that the battery has been inserted correctly.
Adjust the microphone volume knob on the stereo.
When singing, if you need to suspend the wireless microphones, please switch to mute state (center) on the microphone, and if you want to stop using the microphone, please switch to the off state.

FUNCTIONS
RECORDING FUNCTION FM FUNCTION
Press (Button) to record the voice into the external memory like USB disk/ TF card on the speaker. If the external memory is first time used, the system will automatically built a new folder

named VOICE, and recording files in it will be named REC001, REC002, and so on.

In record mode, press (Button) / INPUT to stop recording.

Long press (Button) to play the recordings in the external memory, press and ( Button) to choose the recordings to  play.

Choose INPUT to switch to FM RADIO. Search and tune automatically to radio stations by pressing (Button ) on the remote control or the speaker.

 Switch channels, by pressing (Button ) and on ( Button) the speaker or the remote control.

BLUETOOTH OPERATION

IMPORTANT:
Prior to use Bluetooth function, your speaker should be paired fi rstly with your Bluetooth device.
(“Paring” means establish connection between Bluetooth devices such as MOBILE PHONE, TABLETS, PC, ETC).

  1. Press the INPUT SELECTION (INPUT) button to Switch into the BT MODE (Bluetooth mode).(fig.1)
  2. In BT MODE, a sound indication will announce that Bluetooth pairing mode is ready. Then the micro system will search automatically for Bluetooth devices.
  3. Turn on Bluetooth functionality on your device and make it discoverable (see your devices instructions to add or setup a Bluetooth device).
  4. Search for Bluetooth equipment: DSK-600 is your speaker identification (fig.2).

A sound indication will announce that Bluetooth devices are successfully paired. (During the pairing, if a password is required, you need to input code“0000”).
Your Bluetooth device stores the speaker unique identification at the same time.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

If a fault occurs, fi rst check the points listed below before taking the speaker to repair.
Do not open the speaker as there is risk of electric shock.
If you are unable to remedy a problem by following these hints, consult your dealer or service center.

Under no circumstances should you try to repair the set yourself, as this will invalidate the warranty.
