NOTICE

  • This is a “Universal” child restraint. It is approved to Regulation No. 44, 04 series of amendments, for general use in vehicles and it will fit most, but not all, car seats.
  • A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the vehicle handbook that the vehicle is capable of accepting a “Universal” child restraint for this age group.
  • This child restraint has been classified as “Universal” under more stringent conditions than those which applied to earlier designs which do not carry this notice.
  • If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer.
  • Only suitable if the approved vehicles are fitted with 3-point safety belt, approved to UN/ECE Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent standards.

WARNING

  • Important! Please read all instructions in this manual and in the vehicle owner’s manual related to child safety seats carefully and understand them. Install and use the child safety seat as described in the instruction manual. Failure to do this could result in serious injury or death of your child. WARNING

  • DO NOT replace the child seat cover or harness with any other than the ones we recommend as these parts are integral to the child safety seat’s performance.
  • NO NOT use a second-hand child seat or child seat whose history you do not know. The rigid items and plastic parts of a child restraint must be so located and installed that they are not liable, during everyday use of the vehicle to become trapped by a movable seat or in a door of the vehicle.
  • DO NOT use on the vehicle seats that face the sides or rear of the vehicle (1a,1b). Use the child safety seat only on the vehicle seats that face forward. According to accident statistics, children are safer when properly restrained in the rear seating positions than in the front seating positions (1c, 1d)

  • DO NOT USE in any configuration not shown in the instructions.
  • NEVER use this child safety seat with 2 point vehicle belts.
  • DO NOT use belt routing methods not shown in these instructions.
  • DO NOT use any load bearing contact points other than those described in the instructions and marked in the child restraint.
  • DO NOT allow children to play with or adjust the child safety seat. Always check the tightness of the restraint and the harness before each use. The straps holding the restraint to the vehicle should be tight, that any straps restraining the child (harness) should be adjusted to the child’s body, and that straps should not be twisted.

WARNING

  • DO NOT use this child safety seat in a passenger seat with an active airbag unless the vehicle manufacturer confirms that it is safe. This child restraint should be securely belted in the vehicle even when not In use. In a crash or sudden stop, an unsecured child safety seat may injure other Occupants. PARTS LIST

SETUP

  • Make sure the backrest is properly installed to the booster seat.
  • Only use the armrests to carry the child seat. Do not place a chilled In the seat when carrying.

HARNESS Positioning PositionPosition the height of harness according to the child’s height. The harness straps should be level with or just above the child’s shoulders (3a). Do not use the child restraint with the harness if the child’s shoulders are above the highest slots in the backrest or if the child’s weight exceeds 18kg.

ADJUSTING HARNESS HEIGHT

  • Remove the harness strap loops from the yoke (3b).
  • Pull the harness straps through the backrest (3c).
  • Reinsert the harness straps through proper slots (3d). Make sure both straps are at the same level and are not twisted.
  • Reassemble the harness strap loops on the yoke (3e). Pull to make Sure the harness straps are securely installed.
  • Secure the shoulder pad straps behind the backrest. pull the shoulder pads to make sure the shoulder straps are fastened firmly. (3f)
  • To increase the length of the harmless, press the harness adjuster button located under the cover in front center of booster seat, and at the same time pull both harness straps (3g).

ADJUSTING HEADREST
According to the child’s size, adjust the headrest (5b).

CHILD RESTRANT WITH HARNESS

(Child’s Weight: 9-18kg)

The child seat MUST be used with a 3-point vehicle seat belt when used as a child restraint with harness.

  1. Put the child restraint onto a forward-facing vehicle seat (4a)
  2. Route the vehicle belt latch plate (4b,4c) from the front of the child restraint towards the back through the slot of the front of the backrest
  3. .Pull the adult belt from the retractor, thread one end through behind the arm rest, then insert the adult belt from the back slot; another upper end of adult belt goes following thee routing area and then pull it out of the back slot; then rout the belt over the back to another side, and then pull the adult belt out of another belt slot, make sure the upper piece of adult belt put pass through the belt guide part, and the lower piece of adult belt go under the arm rest, finally buckle, adjust the adult belt(4d).
    WARNING

    • I DO NOT use 2 point vehicle belts to install this child seat.
    • ONLY install this child restraint on forward-facing vehicle seats.
    • DO NOT route the vehicle belt using any other path when using this child seat with the harness, For assistance contact your retailer or child restraint manufacturer.
  4.  Pull the vehicle belt as shown to remove all the slack (4e)
  5. Apply pressure to the child restraint with your full body weight and pull the vehicle belt tights following the steps In 4f, Make sure the chilled restraint ls tightly Installed. There should be Little or no movement. If the chilled restraint Is loose, repeat this step.
  6. Verify that the vehicle buckle does not interfere with the armrest or side of the booster seat (4g). If it does, move the child restraint to another vehicle seating position
  7. Push the red button to release the harness buckle, move the harness straps to the sled and place the chilled In the chilled restraint. Then place harness straps on the cold’s shoulders (4h).
  8. Make sure that the harness is not twisted and lles over the center of the child’s shoulders (4h. Combine the buckle tongues to form one tongue (41) and Insert into the harness buckle (4] ), You will hear a click.
  9. Pull the harness adjuster strap until the harness straps are tights against the chilled (4k)

WARNING

  • MAKE sure the lap sections of the harness rest as low as possible over the child’s hips.
  • DO NOT use the child restraint with the harness if the child’s shoulders are above the highest slots in the backrest or if the child’s weight exceeds 18kg.

(Child’s Weight: 15-36kg)
The child seat MUST be used with a 3 point vehicle seat belt when used as a booster. The harness will need to be removed.

  1. To Remove the Harness 1,To remove the harness, remove the harness shoulder strap loops from the metal yoke (3b),
  2. Pull the harness through the backrest (3c).
  3. Remove the shoulder pads and the buckle tongues by sliding them off of the harness straps, Pull on one end of the strap and remove from booster seat.
  4. Press the harness adjuster button and pull the metal yoke until the harness adjustment strap ls out of the harness adjuster, Store with harness.
  5. To remove the harness buckle, locate the metal plate attached to crotch strap under booster seat.
  6. Rotate the metal plate and push through booster seat and cover. Store all harness components for future use. To Install the harness, please reverse these steps.

To Install Child Restraint

  1. Put the child seat on a forward-facing vehicle seat (5a)
  2. The headrest height can be adjusted by pulling out the adjustment button and at the same time pushing the headrest up and down. Make sure the headrest is locked into place. (5b)
  3. Have the child sit on the booster seat so their back contacts the backrest from shouldered to bottom.
  4. Position the vehicle belt over the child. Make sure the vehicle lap belt passes under both armrests of the booster seat, and the vehicle shoulder belt passes under the armrest on the side where the seat belt is buckled and through the upper belt guide. Check that the vehicle belt is not twisted and then buckle it. (5c)
    (Child’s Weight: 15-36kg)

  5. Adjust the headrest to fit the child. so the vehicle belt passes over the center of the child’s shoulder. (5b)

To remove the backrest
One hand hold the seat base, and the other hand push the backrest strongly.

WARNING

  • MAKE sure the lap section of the vehicle belt rests as low as possible over the child’s helps and that the shoulder section of the vehicle belt Is positioned over the center of the child’s shoulder.
  • VERIFY that the vehicle buckle does not Interfere with the armrest or sled of the booster seat . If it does, move the child seat to another vehicle seating piston,.
  • DO NOT route the vehicle belt using any other path when using this child seat For assistance contact child seat manufacturer. DO NOT use 2 point vehicle belts to install this child seat.
  • ONLY install this child seat on forward-facing vehicle seats.

(Child’s Weight: 22-36kg)
The child seat MUST be used with a 3-point vehicle seat belt when used as a booster.

  1. Remove the backrest from the seat.
  2. Put the booster on a forward-facing vehicle seat.
  3. Have child sit on booster seat so their back contacts vehicle seat from shoulders to bottom.
  4. Position vehicle belt over child .Make sure the vehicle lap belt passes undeath both armrests of the booster seat, and the vehicle shoulder belt passes under the armrest on the side where the seat belt is buckled (6b). Check that the vehicle belt is not twisted and then buckle it.Contact the child restraint manufacturer if in doubt about this point.
  5. The vehicle belt passes over the center of the child’s shoulder (6b).

WARNING
Height is less than 125cm.Do NOT use 0-125cm Group III(22-36kg)Booster seat.

WARNING

  • MAKE sure the lap section of the vehicle belt rests as low as possible over the child’s hips and that the shoulder section of the vehicle belt is postponed over the center of the child’s shoulder. If the child’s eyes are above the vehicle seat back (lf no headrest exists) or the top of the vehicle headrest, then the child Is too large to use this child seat.
  • VERIFY that the vehicle buckle does not interfere with the armrest or sled of the booster seat (4h). f it does, move the child seat to another vehicle seating position,
  • DO NOT route the vehicle belt using any other path when using this child seat. For assistance contact child seat manufacturer, or your retailer. !
  • DO NOT use 2 point vehicle belts to install this child seat. 1ONLY install this child seat on forward-facing vehicle seats.
  1. Remove the harness and harness buckle and detach the backrest from the seat. Please refer to previous sections.
  2.  Remove the headrest cover. (7a,7b)
  3. Remove the backrest cover. (7c)
  4. Remove the cushion cover. (7d) To install the cover, please reverse the above steps.

Periodically inspect your child seat for worn or damaged parts. If damaged parts are found, replace the child seat.

Covers
The fabric parts can be cleaned according to the instructions on the washing label.

BUCKLE
Food, drinks, or other debris may collect inside the harness buckle which can affect proper function, Wash In warm water until clean. Be sure you can hear an audible click to make sure the buckle Is working properly. HARNESS and PLASTIC SEAT SHELL Wipe clean using warm water and mild soap.

WARRANTY
The warranty period starts from the date of purchase and is valid for aperid of 12 months. The warranty is only applicable to material and production defects. The date of purchase can only be proven with the original sales receipt. This warranty is only applicable to the original owner and is not transferable. The warranty is only applicable to products that have not been adapted by the user. In the case of any defects, the owner is required to return the product to retailer. CAUTION: Tighten all screws until snug; do not overtighten. Use only screws provided.

Assembling the ExerSaucer

  1. Locate two stabilizer tubes A and one pylon B.Turn the pylon B upside down and insert one end of each stabilizer tube A into the bottom of the pylon B, as shown. Make sure both stabilizer tubes are fully inserted into the bottom of the pylon.
  2. Insert a foot C into the bottom of the pylon B, as shown. Secure with one 8-16 X 75 mm screw D and four 8-16 X 18 mm screws E. Tighten all five screws securely but do not overtighten. DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS.
    IMPORTANT: The foot MUST sit completely flat at the bottom of the pylon. If it is raised on either end, then one of the stabilizer tubes is not installed correctly or is not fully inserted. If this is the case, remove the stabilizer tube and reinstall it until the foot fits over it correctly.
  3. Locate the other two pylons B. One at a time, turn them upside down and completely insert the end of a stabilizer tube A in each pylon, as shown. Make sure the stabilizer tubes are fully inserted into the bottom of each pylon.
  4. Locate the third stabilizer tube A and insert it into both pylons B, as shown. Make sure the stabilizer tube is fully inserted into the bottom of each pylon.
  5. Insert a foot C into the bottom of each pylon B, as shown. Secure each foot with one 8-16 X 75 mm screw D and four 8-16 X 18 mm screws E. Tighten all 10 screws securely but do not overtighten. DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS.IMPORTANT: Each foot MUST sit completely flat at the bottom of the pylon. If it is raised on either end, then one of the stabilizer tubes is not installed correctly or is not fully inserted. If this is the case, remove the stabilizer tube and reinstall it until the foot fits over it correctly.
  6. Place seat ring F upside down and locate the wheel holders G. Snap four seat wheels H into wheel holders, as shown.
  7. Turn seat ring F right side up. Align the two triangles on the back of the seat ring with the two triangles on the label on the seat pad I. Snap the plastic tabs J on the pad over the pegs K on the seat ring. Continue this process until all tabs are attached to all pegs.
  8. Press assembled seat L down firmly onto the top of the tray M until it snaps into place and spins freely.
  9. Learn the tray assembly N against one of the pylons.
  10. Insert a strap O through a strap slot P in the tray N. Pull the strap completely through the tray making sure the strap anchor Q lies flat against the bottom of the tray, as shown. Repeat for the other two straps.

WARNING

To prevent injury, make sure all three strap anchors are completely inserted and resting against the bottom of the tray. During use, allow the baby’s toes only to touch the base. DO NOT allow the baby to stand flat-footed on the base. As the baby grows and becomes more active, raise the tray to the next level so that baby enjoys the most comfortable fit and maximum use of the spin, and bounce features. Discontinue use when baby can stand flat-footed at the highest setting. ALWAYS remove a baby from ExerSaucer before adjusting. Unlock the adjustment knob A by turning to the right, then moving until the desired height is obtained (there are three positions). Turn the adjustment knob to the left to lock it in place. Repeat the adjustment on the other two pylons.
Note: Make sure that all three legs are adjusted to the same position.
IMPORTANT: Always make sure the adjustment knobs are locked in position before placing the child in the activity center.

Attaching the Toys

Care and Maintenance

  • For Plastic Parts:
    Wipe the surface clean with a cloth slightly moistened with mild soap and water. Allow to air dry.
  • For Seat Pad:
    Machine Wash Separately, Cold Water – Delicate Cycle. NO CHLORINE BLEACH.
  • Tumble Dry: 10 – 15 Minutes on Low Heat – Remove Immediately.
    If musical toys fail to operate, check the batteries.
  • Note:
    ONLY the AAA batteries are replaceable. Dispose of old batteries safely.
  • BATTERY INFORMATION
    Battery life varies with use. For best results, use alkaline batteries. Safety Information: Batteries are small objects. Batteries must be replaced by adults. Follow the polarity (+/-) diagram in the battery compartment.

Battery Replacement: To replace batteries, loosen the screw and remove the battery door. Discard old batteries properly and replace them with 3 AAA alkaline or standard batteries. Replace door and tighten the screw.

Troubleshooting

The toy does not turn on or does not respond:

  • Make sure batteries are installed correctly.
  • Make sure the battery cover is correctly secured.
  • Install new batteries.
  • The toy makes improper responses.
  • Check or install new batteries.

  • NEVER lift or carry the toddler seat by the bumper bar.
  • NEVER use the stroller frame without the toddler seat or car seat attached.
  • NEVER use a toddler seat in a motor vehicle or use it as a booster seat.
  • To avoid falls, never remove the toddler seat from the stroller with the child in it.
  • To avoid falls, always make sure the toddler seat or car seat is securely attached to the seat mounts on both sides of the stroller before placing a child in the seat.
  • When the stroller seat is in carriage mode, it is intended for a child up to 6 months of age.
  • NEVER use the seat in the carriage mode position unless the straps under the seat are unbuckled and the seat is set up in carriage mode as per the instructions.

IDENTIFICATION OF PARTS

CHOOSING MODE OF USE

YOUR STROLLER SEAT CAN BE USED IN TWO DIFFERENT MODES.
TODDLER SEAT MODE OR CARRIAGE MODE.
Your stroller seat is shipped in carriage mode with the buckles unfastened under the footrest. You will need to follow the instructions completely to make sure you set up your stroller in your preferred mode of use.
After the frame and the wheels have been assembled, you can choose to set the stroller up in Carriage Mode or Toddler Seat Mode by following the instructions on pages 12-16.

ASSEMBLING YOUR STROLLER – FRAME

WARNING! DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur.
Care must be taken when folding or unfolding the stroller to prevent finger injury in hinge areas.
To protect flooring, place a protective covering (carton) beneath the stroller during assembly.
Unlatch the side frame lock. Continue holding the lock open while unfolding the stroller.
Grab the parent’s handle and pull upward until the stroller opens fully with an audible click.

Make sure the stroller locks in the open position by pushing down on the parent’s handle.
To attach the front wheels, push the wheel onto the front leg tube until it clicks into place. Repeat on other side.
Pull on the wheels to make sure both of them are attached.

To attach rear wheels, push wheels onto rear leg tubes until they click into place.
Pull on the wheels to make sure both of them are attached.

ASSEMBLING YOUR STROLLER – TODDLER SEAT MODE

To set up a seat in toddler seat mode, flip the toddler seat over and attach the buckle on the seat as shown. CLICK!

Turn the seat back over and attach the toddler seat to the mounts until they both click into place on both sides of the frame.
CHECK to make sure it is securely attached by pulling up on it.
The toddler seat may be attached forward or rear-facing.
NOTE: The stroller cannot be folded with the seat in a rear-facing position.

To attach the bumper bar, push tabs into openings on the stroller on either side of the frame until it clicks into place.
Pull on the bumper bar to make sure it is locked into place.
To remove the bumper bar, push both tabs and remove the bumper bar from the stroller.
To recline the toddler seat, lift the handle and rotate it to the desired position.
To remove the toddler seat from the frame, press levers on both sides of the stroller and lift the seat off the stroller.
USING YOUR STROLLER – SETTING UP THE STROLLER IN CARRIAGE MODE FROM TODDLER SEAT MODE
WARNING! DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur.
NEVER use the seat in a reclined carriage position unless the straps under the seat are unbuckled and the seat is set up in the reclined carriage mode as per the instructions.
If you are in Toddler Seat Mode as shown, follow these steps to convert to Carriage Mode.
To recline the seat, squeeze the button and pull down the recline strap on the rear of the seat.
USING YOUR STROLLER – SETTING UP THE STROLLER IN CARRIAGE MODE FROM TODDLER SEAT MODE

Unfasten the buckle behind the legrest on the toddler seat. Refer to page 12 Step 1, for buckle location.
Lift the handle and rotate the seat all the way down so that it is flat.

Press down on the inside of the toddler seat to flatten it out the inside.
WARNING! DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur. NEVER lift or carry the toddler seat by the bumper bar.
To remove and use in rear-facing mode: depress the release buttons on both sides of the toddler seat, lift the seat off the stroller frame and turn it around and re-attach.

CHECK to make sure it is securely attached on both sides by pulling up on it.

USING YOUR STROLLER – BRAKES

WARNING! DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur.
ALWAYS lock both brakes. Make sure the brakes are on by trying to push the stroller.
To lock, press the lever DOWN on both rear wheels.

To unlock, press the lever UP on both rear wheels.

USING YOUR STROLLER – CUPHOLDER

To attach the cup holder, slide down on the mount as shown.
To remove the cupholder, press the tab towards the center and slide up as shown.

USING YOUR STROLLER – HARNESS

WARNING! DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur. To avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out,
ALWAYS use waist restraint.
NOTE: Verify the stroller is locked in the open position by lifting up the rear of the stroller using the parent’s handle.
Lock the rear brakes and remove the bumper bar.
The harness shoulder straps G must be at shoulder height or lower, closest to the baby’s shoulders H.

Place the baby in the seat and bring the crotch panel I up between the child’s legs. Fasten each buckle J. For a snug, comfortable fit, pull the shoulder straps G to tighten the shoulder restraint and pull the waist restraint straps K to tighten the waist restraint.
NOTE: To loosen the waist straps K, push in the release button L on the buckle and pull.
To loosen shoulder straps push up on the retainer M while pulling down on the shoulder strap.
Once the child is properly restrained, re-attach the bumper bar. Make sure the bumper bar locks into position with audible clicks.
Pull on the bumper bar to make sure it is locked into place.

USING YOUR STROLLER – CANOPY

To open or close the canopy, push to the front or the rear of the stroller.
The canopy has a window that can be rolled back so you can view the child.
To remove the canopy, unfasten the canopy mounts from the sides of the toddler seat as shown.
Unfasten the hook and loop tape from the top edge of the canopy as shown. Repeat on another side of the canopy.

USING YOUR STROLLER – FOLDING STROLLER

WARNING! DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur. Care must be taken when folding or unfolding the stroller to prevent finger injury in hinge areas.
To fold the stroller, adjust the seat back to an upright position, lock the rear brakes, close the canopy, and remove your child.
Pull the levers on both sides of the stroller and lower the frame until the side frame lock clicks into place.
NOTE: The stroller cannot be folded with the seat in a rear-facing position.
For a more compact fold, you can remove the toddler seat before folding the stroller frame.
NEVER fold the stroller when the toddler seat is in carriage mode.
USING YOUR STROLLER WITH THE RECOMMENDED INFANT CAR SEATS ON YOUR STROLLER FRAME
WARNING! DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur.

  • Only use Evenflo SafeMaxTM infant car seats or any version of the LiteMaxTM infant car seat with this stroller. Other infant car seats or carriers are not designed to fit the stroller frame and if used with this stroller may result in serious injury to your child.
  • Before using the infant car seat with this stroller, read all the instructions provided with it and keep the instructions stored properly for future use.
  • DO NOT lift the stroller by using the infant car seat handle when installed on the stroller.
  • If unable to securely attach your infant car seat to this stroller, remove the car seat and contact Evenflo ParentLink at 1-800-233-5921 (USA), 1-937-773-3971 (Canada), or 800-706-1200 (México).
  • To avoid serious injury, make sure the infant car seat is securely snapped onto the car seat mounts.
  • Some Evenflo SafeMaxTM and LiteMaxTM infant car seats have a blanket/boot option that must be removed for proper attachment to this stroller.

To remove the toddler seat, press the release buttons down on either side of the toddler seat and lift seat off the stroller frame.
To attach the car seat, insert the car seat into the mounts until they both click into place on both sides of the frame.
USING YOUR STROLLER WITH THE RECOMMENDED INFANT CAR SEATS ON YOUR STROLLER FRAME

NOTE: The infant car seat may be installed facing the parent or facing forward on the stroller frame.
Pull up on the front and back of the infant car seat to test that it is properly locked into place.TO REMOVE, squeeze the handle on rear of the seat and pull the car seat up off of the stroller.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • Clean minor spills and stains on cloth or plastic surfaces with cold water and mild soap. Air dry.
  • Metal and plastic parts can be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth and dried with a soft cloth. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

IDENTIFICATION OF PARTS

ASSEMBLING YOUR STROLLER

  1. Place the folded stroller A on the floor so the parent’s console B is visible. Hold the parent’s handle C facing upward, as shown, then push it onto the stroller until it locks into place with audible clicks. Pull upward on the handle to make sure it is locked securely.
  2. Lift tube D at the rear of the cargo basket and push into tube E on the stroller until they lock into place with audible clicks.
    Pull upward on the basket to make sure it is locked securely.
  3. Unfold the stroller by unlocking the fold latch F, then grabbing the parent’s handle C and pulling upward. Make sure the stroller locks in the open position.
  4. Slide the footrest G downward and lock it into place.
  5. Begin assembly of the rear wheels and axle assembly by discarding all packaging. Slide one wheel H and a steel washer I onto axle J. Insert a clevis pin K through the end of the axle J to secure the wheel, as shown. Make sure the clevis pin is completely pushed through the hole in the axle, and make sure the brake housings L are facing the same direction. Note: An extra clevis pin and steel washer are included for your convenience. Install the hub cap M on the wheel by lining up the notch N with the tallest rib O in the wheel hub. Insert the hub cap completely until it snaps into place. Repeat on the other side.
  6. Slide the front wheel assembly S over the front frame leg T until the locking tab U locks into place with an audible click. Repeat for other side. Note: To remove each swivel wheel, press locking tab U and slide the wheel off the leg.
  7. Insert the canopy support tubes V into the canopy hinges on the stroller W until they lock into place with audible clicks. Pull upward on the canopy tubes to make sure they are locked securely.
  8. Bring the parent’s console B up to the parent’s handle C. Gently pull out the side of the console and guide the hole X over the post Y. Repeat on the other side of the parent’s console.

USING YOUR STROLLER

  1. Pull canopy hoop A forward to extend canopy. Push canopy toward handle to close.
  2. Step on the rear brake levers B to lock the rear wheels on the stroller. To release the brakes, lift up on the brake levers.
  3. To open the child’s tray C, slide the button D on either side of the tray, then lift tray upward.
    Note: You can open the tray from either side.
  4. DO NOT raise or recline seat with child in stroller. To recline seat, move the adjuster tab E all the way to the left and lower seat back F. To raise the seat, pull the D-ring G to the right. 
  5. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. ALWAYS use waist restraint. Lock the rear brakes. Place the baby in the seat and bring the crotch panel H up between the child’s legs. Fasten each buckle I and pull the straps to tighten the waist and shoulder restraints (shoulder restraints only for 5 point) for a snug, comfortable fit. Note: To loosen straps, push in the release button J on the buckle and pull up.
  6. WARNING
    Care must be taken when folding or unfolding stroller to prevent finger injury in hinge areas.
    To fold the stroller, lock the rear brakes, close the canopy, and remove your child. Locate and raise the release handle K, as shown. Hold the release handle and the parent’s handle L and pull upward to unlock the stroller. Place one foot on basket M and push downward until the stroller is in the folded position. Lock the fold latch N.
    Note: Stroller will stand by itself.
    To unfold the stroller, unlock the fold latch N, then grab the parent’s handle and pull upward.

USING YOUR STROLLER WITH AN INFANT CAR SEAT

WARNING

  • Only use the Evenflo Discovery™ infant car seats with this stroller. Other infant car seats or carriers are not designed to fit the stroller frame and may result in serious injury to your child if used with this stroller.

  1. Fully recline the seat back (page 6).
  2. Make sure the child’s tray A is securely latched.
  3. The infant car seat B MUST be in the rear-facing position. Lower the infant car seat down onto the child’s tray A and press downward until you hear the lock snap into place.
  4. Secure the front of the infant car seat B with the car seat stabilizer strap C. Slide the car seat stabilizer strap C through the locking channel D, as shown.
  5. Pull up on the car seat handle to test the lock.

To remove the infant car seat, disconnect the car seat stabilizer strap and disengage the seat release handle on the back of the infant car seat.

CHECKLIST FOR PROPER INSTALLATION

  • Make sure the infant car seat B is in the rear-facing position.
  • Make sure the infant car seat is securely locked onto the child’s tray A and secured with car seat stabilizer C.
  • Pull up on the car seat to test that it is properly locked into place.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  • Clean minor spills and stains on cloth, vinyl or plastic surfaces with cold water and mild soap. Air dry.
  • Metal and plastic parts can be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth and dried with a soft cloth. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • An occasional drop of vegetable oil may reduce wear and tear on moving parts.

  • Care must be taken when folding or unfolding the stroller to prevent finger injury to you or your child in hinge areas. Make sure child is not in the seat or near the stroller when folding or unfolding.
  • NEVER leave the stroller on a hill or incline, even with brakes set. The stroller may tip, injuring the child.
  • To avoid accidental rolling, ALWAYS set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed.
  • AVOID STRANGULATION:
    – DO NOT suspend strings or toys from the canopy.
    – DO NOT place the stroller anywhere near cords from window blinds, draperies, phones, etc.
    – DO NOT place items with a string around your child’s neck such as hood strings or pacifier cords.
  • When making adjustments to the stroller, ALWAYS ensure that all parts of the child’s body are clear of any moving parts of the stroller.
  • The canopy is not intended to provide UV protection.

  • Some Evenflo SafeMax™ and LiteMax™ infant car seats have a blanket/boot option that must be removed for proper attachment to the stroller.
  • To avoid stroller instability and tip-overs, DO NOT load cup holders or adult handle storage area with over 2 lbs (0 .9 kg) or the main cargo basket with over 10 lbs (4 .5 kg) .
  • The wheel can detach and cause tip over . Pull on the wheel to assure it is securely attached. Periodically check wheel to assure it is securely attached .
  • IF YOU ARE JOGGING WITH THIS STROLLER:
    – DO NOT inflate tires above the maximum recommended inflation pressure that is on the side of the tire . Overinflation may cause wheel and/or tire to blow out and could result in serious injury .
    – DO NOT use the stroller for jogging when infant car seat is in stroller.
    – Be aware of the increased speed and greater possibility of losing control of the stroller.
    – ALWAYS attach the tether strap to your wrist while jogging with this stroller . The tether strap is intended to be used by an adult to maintain control of stroller while jogging . Do not allow children to play with tether strap . Do not hang items from the tether strap .
    – Be aware of traffic and other hazardous conditions that may be present.
    – FALL HAZARD from tip over. Before running, jogging, or walking fast, LOCK the front wheel from swiveling.

IDENTIFICATION OF PARTS

ASSEMBLING YOUR STROLLER

WARNING
Care must be taken when folding or unfolding stroller to prevent finger injury in hinge areas . To protect flooring, place a protective covering (cardboard, towel, small rug or blanket) beneath the stroller during assembly. Unlatch side frame lock A. Continue holding the lock open while unfolding the stroller.evenflo Victory Plus Compact Fold Jogging Stroller - lockGrab the parent’s handle B near the top of the canopy and pull upward until the stroller opens fully with an audible click. Make sure the stroller locks in the open position.

NOTE: Hardware for front wheel assembly is located on the wheel .
Turn the stroller upside down so the front of the stroller is facing upwards, as shown.
Loosen the nut on each side so that the forks C will fit under the silver tabs D. Slide the front wheel onto the forks. Ensure the silver tabs fit into the openings on the forks as shown. Use the wrench tool E to tighten both nuts.
DO NOT inflate tires above the maximum recommended inflation pressure listed on the side of the tire. Overinflation may cause wheel and/or tire to blow out and could result in serious injury. Use a manual bicycle pump to inflate tires.
  WARNING FALL HAZARD
The wheel can detach and cause a tip-over. Pull on the wheel to assure it is securely attached. Periodically check the wheel to assure it is securely attached.

ASSEMBLING YOUR STROLLER

Push rear wheel post F into the opening on rear axle G. Make sure wheel locks into position with an audible click. Pull on the wheel to make sure it is locked securely. Repeat on another side. DO NOT inflate tires above the maximum recommended inflation pressure listed on the side of the tire. Overinflation may cause wheel and/or tire to blow out and could result in serious injury. Use a manual bicycle pump to inflate tires.

To remove the rear wheel, turn the stroller upside down. Push on release button H while pulling on the wheel. Repeat on another side.

To attach the child’s tray, push posts I into openings J on the stroller. Make sure the tray locks into position with an audible click.
To remove the tray, push button K under the tray while pulling on the tray.

USING YOUR STROLLER

Push or pull on tab L until it clicks, allowing the wheel to swivel.
With the wheel straight, push or pull the tab until it clicks to keep the wheel from swiveling.
NOTE: Either locked position is recommended for travel over uneven surfaces.
When jogging, the wheel should be locked inward.
WARNING
FALL HAZARD from tip over. Before running, jogging, or walking fast, LOCK the front wheel from swiveling.

Step on both rear brake levers M to lock the rear wheels on the stroller.
To release the brakes, lift up on both brake levers.

WARNING
To avoid serious injury, DO NOT raise or recline the seat with the child in a stroller.
To recline seat, squeeze and slide the adjuster down N .
To raise the seat, hold the D-ring O on the strap, then slide the adjuster toward the seat.

USING YOUR STROLLER – HARNESS

WARNING
To avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out, ALWAYS use a waist restraint.
Note: Verify the stroller is locked in the open position by lifting up the rear of the stroller using the parent’s handle.
Lock the rear brakes and remove the tray (page 8).
5-point Harness:
The harness shoulder straps P must be at shoulder height or lower, closest to the baby’s shoulders Q.
Place the baby in the seat and bring the crotch panel R up between the child’s legs. Fasten each buckle S. For a snug, comfortable fit, pull the shoulder straps P to tighten the shoulder restraint and pull the waist restraint straps T to tighten the waist restraint.

Note: To loosen the waist straps T, push in the release button U on the buckle and pull .
To loosen shoulder straps push up on the retainer V while pulling down on the shoulder strap .
Once the child is properly restrained, re-attach the tray. Make sure the tray locks into position with audible clicks. Pull on the tray to make sure it is locked into place.

3-point Harness: To change from a 5-point to a 3-point harness:
Unlock the Harness: Depress button W as shown remove harness shoulder strap P from each buckle S, as shown.
Store shoulder harness straps for future use.

USING YOUR STROLLER

Pull canopy hoop X forward to extend canopy. Push canopy toward parent’s handle to close.

WARNING
Care must be taken when folding or unfolding the stroller to prevent finger injury in hinge areas . To fold the stroller, lock the rear brakes, close the canopy, position the front wheel inward, and remove your child. Place thumb or index finger through the plastic ring and other fingers around the in-seat fold strap. See image. Pull upward on both until side frame lock clicks into place.

To unfold the stroller, unlatch the side frame lock. Continue holding the lock open while unfolding the stroller. Grab the parent’s handle near the top of the canopy and pull upward until the stroller opens fully with an audible click. Make sure the stroller locks in the open position (page 3).
USING YOUR STROLLER WITH THE LITEMAX INFANT CAR SEAT

WARNING

  • Only use Evenflo SafeMax™ and LiteMax™ infant car seats with this stroller.
    Other infant car seats or carriers are not designed to fit the stroller frame and may result in serious injury to your child if used with this stroller.

  1. Fully recline the stroller seat back (page 5).
  2. Make sure the child’s tray is securely latched (page 4).
  3. Rotate both car seat mounts A inward as shown.
  4. The infant car seat B MUST be in the rear-facing position.
    Position infant car seat over the stroller. Touch rear vertical surface C of infant car seat against rear vertical surface D of child tray. Lower the infant car seat down into the stroller and push down on the handle. The infant car seat will click when fully locked into place.
  5. Pull up on the infant car seat handle to test that it is properly locked into place.

CHECKLIST FOR PROPER INSTALLATION

  • Make sure the infant car seat B is in the rear-facing position.
  • Make sure the infant car seat is securely locked into the car seat mounts A and resting on the child tray D.
  • Pull up on the infant car seat to test that it is properly locked into place.

USING YOUR STROLLER WITH THE LITEMAX INFANT CAR SEAT

To remove the infant car seat, pull the release handle E with one hand while lifting up on the carry handle F with the other hand.
