How to use the watch for nurses

We thank you for choosing our silicone watch for nurses and we hope that its use will give you full satisfaction. Before enabling the watch, please pay attention to any movement of one of the needles. This is due to the fact that the movement drive has not yet been activated. Once the battery protection tab is removed, the needle will move in only one direction.

To enable the clock, pull it out of its silicone body and remove the protect tab on the charging mechanism. Pull the charging mechanism, rotate it to set the time and bring the mechanism into its housing to lock it. Replace the body of the watch on the opposite side of the securing pin.

Cleaning

Remove the watch from its silicone holder and clean the silicone with a cloth dampened with water and soap or alcohol at 70°. For the body of the watch, use a damp cloth as the watch is watertight. WEIGHT: 30 grams. BATTERY: SR626SW button battery (when the battery is low, throw it into the collection container; please refer to the procedure for the collection of batteries).
BATTERY LIFE: 18 months.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT: on the back of the watch, there is a notch to open the housing and get to the battery. Lift the rear with a sharp and thin instrument. Remove the white plastic cover and the battery by sliding it on the side. Insert the new battery complying with the correct polarity with the “+” facing up. Replace the white cover and close the case.

GIMA WARRANTY CONDITIONS

Congratulations for purchasing a GIMA product. This product meets high qualitative standards both as regards the material and the production. The warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of supply of GIMA. During the period of validity of the warranty, GIMA will repair and/or replace free of charge all the defected parts due to production reasons. Labor costs and personnel traveling expenses and packaging not included. All components subject to wear are not included in the warranty. The repair or replacement performed during the warranty period shall not extend the warranty. The warranty is void in the following cases: repairs performed by unauthorized personnel or with non-original spare parts, defects caused by negligence or incorrect use. GIMA cannot be held responsible for malfunctioning on electronic devices or software due to outside agents such as: voltage changes, electro-magnetic fields, radio interferences, etc. The warranty is void if the above regulations are not observed and if the serial code (if available) has been removed, cancelled or changed. The defected products must be returned only to the dealer the product was purchased from. Products sent to GIMA will be rejected.

INTRODUCTION
This manual provides the instructons for a correct use of our patient aid or an assistant / carer.
INTENDED USE
The walking frame is designed to be used inside buildings by patients with an impairment to legs. The devices are intended to provide a support to the body. This aid allow patient mobility making it easy to walk. They must be used withtwo arms in order to guarantee safe operation.
WARNING! The walking frame is built for indoor use and only on flatsurfaces. If it is necessary to employ the devices outside we advise to follow the road rules like any pedestrian.
MAINTENANCE The walking frame do not require special care for their ordinary maintenance. We advise to regularly perform the following checks:  – verify the reliability of different components- check the correct fixing of screws and nuts- test moving parts, apply lubricant if needed – clean parts with mild detergents (do not use corrosive or harmful chemicals), put it in dry and ventilated environment.
WARNING! Do not use the equipment in case it is damaged or any component is missing. Do not use the patient aids for purposes not mentioned in this user manual. Do not cross obstacles or use the patient aids on uneven surfaces, or wet and slippery. The use of the device is not recommended for people with poor functionality in the hands and arms.

INTRODUCTION

(EU) 2017/745, this product is part of the CLASS I MEDICAL DEVICES. You should carefully read this manual before using this medical device.

DESCRIPTION

The classic examination couch is designed for hospitals, community centers, nursing homes and medical offices. This couch has structures and legs entirely in polished chromed steel. The two sections of the matress are flame resistant and washable. The backrest is completely inclinable.

COMPONENTS:

–Mattress covered with washable and fire-retardant fabric already fixed to the chromed structure with backrest

–On request: chromed couch roll holder

–N. 4 TBE 8×16 (screwed to the structure)

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

The couch is supplied partially assembled: the mattress is already fixed to the structure. Begin the assembly phase by setting up a stable horizontal work plan.
Take the couch and place it down on a worktop on the side of the mattress (mattress already attached to the frame – DO NOT UNSCREW). Find the allen key to screw/rescrew the legs.

Unscrew the tube of the backrest by hexagon screw and its nut.

After loosening the TBE 8×16 screws, insert the legs with the crosspiece for the backrest into the frame and tighten the screws always using the supplied Allen key.
Proceed in the same way with the opposite legs of the bed.

Insert the adjustment rod into its housing (the plate hole). Re-tighten by screw and its nut.

In detail the backrest at the end of assembly.

TECHNICAL DATA

WARNINGS!

–Check the locking nuts are tightened.
–Observe the maximum flow rates indicated in the data sheets.
–Avoid direct contact with open wounds.
–Not for use in open environments.
–When adjusting the height of the couch and the back, make sure that no one inserts hands, legs or anything into the movement area: CRUSHING RISK!
–Move the bed without lifting it from the floor.
–Before moving the bed, unlock the wheels.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

–Use only original spare parts.
–Periodically check all fixing points.
–To preserve at best, it is recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, to contact and deposit in saline and very humid environments.
–Wash the stainless steel surfaces with soapy water and use appropriate disinfectants.
–Rinse with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
–Do not spill on the surface cleaners containing chlorine or ammonia, fatty and oily substances.
–Do not use cleaning utensils containing iron. If necessary disinfection only use suitable non-corrosive products.

CLEANING RULES FOR COATING:

Clean with damp soapy cloth and rinse well with clean water. Do not use solvents, bleaches, synthetic detergents, polishes or aerosol spray. Attention: Normally synthetic leather light colours should not come in contact with no fixed cloured clothes (such as jeans and similar) not to cause stains and rings that cannot be cleaned up.

Built into the battery unit the GIMA 38 KL Led Medical Headlight 3W has steeples light intensity control adjustment. According to individual condition, adjust the height and girth of the headband.

7. Cautions

Attention for the LED light, avoid aiming at eyes directly. Keep the device dry, do not use at any wet place. Do not attach the optic glass with anything hard or hand. Do not wipe the glass with something hard or dirty.

8. Maintain

1. First time use or long time not use, please charge for more than 6 hours.
2. Please use the original adapter to avoid any damage of parts.
3. Please use wet and clean soft cloth to clean this device, then use dry cloth to take off the water.
4. Do not bath or keep at high temperature or high pressure this device.
5. Waste battery: please treat according to the relevant provisions, please do not dispose of along with other domestic waste.
6. Put the device into the box after you finish use.
7. When the glass is dirty, please clean with soft cloth or hairbrush.

9. After-sale

Guarantee time: 12 months after purchase. Guarantee time for battery: 3 months after purchase. During the guarantee period, in the case use and maintain the product correctly, if there is any breakdown which is caused by the product’s own quality, we will offer free fix and replace. Free maintain will not be given under the following circumstance:

1. The breakdown caused by installation error and wrong operation.
2. The damage caused by the dismantle movement of a non-our company authorized main- trainer.
3. The damage caused by customer inappropriate preservation and maintain.
4. The breakdown and the damage caused by the force majeure.

Disposal: The product must not be disposed of along with other domestic waste. 2. To screw assembly other knobs with the swivel seat.

OPERATION:

1. Adjust the seat height, Sit on, Push down the front bottom to swivel the top seat.
2. Turn around right or left with one hand holding on the handle.

3. Hand off the front bottom.
