LET’S CONNECT
First Time Pairing
Remove both earbuds from the Portable Charging Case .5
They will automatically dual pair together; a voice will prompt ‘Power on, pairing’ and a ‘Beep’ will sound. One of the Earbud LED Light 2 will flash WHITE to indicate pairing mode. If the earbuds do not automatically dual pair together, tap each earbud 4 times to power off and then place them both back into the case.
Remove the earbuds and they should automatically dual pair together.
Go to the Bluetooth settings on your audio device and select ‘MIXX StreamBuds Air 4’ from the list. Once paired successfully you will hear ‘Connected’ and the
Earbud LED Light 2 will turn off.
You can now enjoy your music, watch a video or take a call hands free.
The earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last device they were paired with, confirming ‘Connected’.
Placing both earbuds back in the Portable Charging Case 5 will power them off.
LET’S ASK GOOGLE OR SIRI
Pair your Bluetooth device with your earbuds.
Triple tap either Touch Sensor 1 or 3 to activate Siri or Google Assistant.
Your Voice Assist familiar ‘Beep’ will sound to confirm connection.
You can now ask Siri or Google Assistant a question or state a command.
LET’S STAY CHARGED
The Earbuds
- A voice prompt ‘Battery low’ allows for 2 minutes play time before the earbud(s) powers down stating ‘Battery low, power off’.
- The Earbuds LED Light 2 will flash WHITE once and will then switch off.
- Charge the earbuds using the Portable Charging Case .5
- While charging, each Earbud LED Light 2 will be WHITE and once fully charged the LED Lights 2 will turn off. Secure the earbuds by closing the lid.
TIP: 15 MINUTE QUICK CHARGE
If you’re running low on power, charge your earbuds for 15 minutes and get 2 hours extra play time while on the go
The Portable Charging Case
- When all 4 LED Charge Indicator 7s switch off, then it is time to recharge.
- Always connect the case to a suitable USB wall charger, computer USB port or a power bank using the USB C charging cable 8 supplied.
- Each LED Charge Indicator 7 represents 25% charge on the case.
- The first LED indicator will flash WHITE until it reaches 25% charge, then it will remain on as the next LED indicator begins to flash.
- The case is fully charged when all 4 of the LED Charge Indicator 7 are WHITE. This can take up to 2 hours.
LET’S PLAY
First Time Pairing
Remove both earbuds from the charging case.
Go to the Bluetooth settings on your audio device to select
‘MIXX StreamBuds Air 4’ from the list.
Once paired successfully you will hear ‘Connected’.
Play / Pause
Double tap either Touch Sensor 1 or 3
Decrease Volume
Single tap LEFT Touch Sensor 1
Increase Volume
Single tap RIGHT Touch Sensor 3
Previous Track
Tap and hold LEFT Touch Sensor
Skip Track
Tap and hold RIGHT Touch Sensor
Answer / End Call
Double-tap either Touch Sensor 1 or 3
Activate Siri or Google Assistant
Triple tap either Touch Sensor 1 or 3 to activate Siri or Google Assistant. Listen for the familiar Voice Assist ‘Beep’ then ask a question or state a command.
Power on
Remove both earbuds from the case. They will automatically turn on and dual pair together. A voice prompt will state ‘Connected’ as confirmation. To manually turn on, long press each Touch Sensor for 3 seconds.
Power off
Place both earbuds in the case and close the lid. This will automatically turn off the earbuds and the Bluetooth.
NEED EXTRA HELP?
Common solutions
If you are experiencing problems with your earbuds:
- Power on the earbuds (see page 6).
- Check the status on the LED Lights (see page 3).
- Charge the earbuds (see page 4).
- Move your device closer to the earbuds and away from any obstructions or interference.
- Try connecting to another device.

Q. While pairing with my phone, I see two ‘MIXX StreamBuds Air 4’ in my Bluetooth menu listing?
A. One of the Earbud LED Lights will flash WHITE, wait approximately 4 seconds for the earbuds to connect to each other before pairing with your device.
If there is still no connection simply ‘forget’ or ‘unpair’ both earbuds in your Bluetooth settings, place them back in the case and start again.
Q. How do I turn on my earbuds without using the charging case?
A. Long press for 3 seconds both Touch Sensors to manually turn them on.
Q. Can I use the earbuds individually?
A. Yes, you can use one earbud while leaving the other in the case to charge. Swap them over when the earbud in use, loses its charge.
Q. What smartphone voice assist systems do these earbuds work with?
A. Connects with Siri, Google Assistant or Bixby (depending on your device).
