My BoomPro microphone is not working, what should I do?
Make sure the mute button is switched off, and that the volume knob is turned up. If using with a Windows PC that has separate audio-out and mic-in jacks, make sure you’re using the provided VoIP adapter when connecting to the computer (see more below).
What if my PC/device has two 3.5mm jacks for headphones (audio-out) and microphones (min)?
If your computer and/or device has separate jacks, you will have to use the provided VoIP adapter (female to two-male jacks – labeled headphone and microphone) when plugging in your BoomPro, or else you may experience issues such as no sound or no-volume when using the BoomPro cable.
What devices are compatible with the BoomPro Microphone?
The 3.5mm plug on the BoomPro Mic is compatible with iOS devices, Android devices, and most computers/PCs. However, if the pin-assignment of the device is not matching up with the BoomPro’s preset universal 4P pin-assignment, there is a chance the BoomPro will not work.
Which V-MODA models are compatible with the BoomPro?
Crossfade 2 Wireless, Crossfade Wireless, Crossfade M-100, Crossfade LP2, XS, Crossfade M-80, V80, and Crossfade LP.
Which non-V-MODA headphone models are compatible with the BoomPro?
Most headphones that have a female 3.5mm (1/8″) jack on the ear cup should work, as long as the straight plug on the BoomPro is able to be fully plugged in and make full contact. Headphones that use 2.5mm size jacks will not work (and may not work even with 2.5mm to 3.5mm (1/8″) adapters).
Will my BoomPro microphone work on the Sony PlayStation 4?
Yes, the BoomPro microphone will work out of the box (no adapter needed) with the Sony PlayStation 4. Just plug the 45-degree plug into the headphone jack on the Dualshock 4 controller, and the other end into your headphones.
Will my BoomPro microphone work on the Sony PlayStation Vita?
Yes, the BoomPro microphone will work out of the box (no adapter needed) with the Sony PlayStation Vita. Just plug the 45-degree plug into the headphone jack on the bottom of the Vita, and the other end into your headphones.
Will my BoomPro microphone work on the Sony PlayStation 3?
The BoomPro microphone will not work out of the box with the Sony PlayStation 3, an adapter will be needed for functionality.
Will my BoomPro microphone work on the Microsoft Xbox 360?
The BoomPro microphone will not work out of the box with the Microsoft Xbox 360, an adapter will be needed for functionality.
Will My BoomPro microphone work on the Microsoft Xbox One?
The BoomPro microphone will not work out of the box with the Microsoft Xbox One, the official Xbox One headset adapter will be needed for functionality.
Do you sell a gaming console adapter for your BoomPro Microphone?
No, we currently do not.

To fold correctly, be sure to place earcups cushion to cushion.

Distorted sound | Check to make sure the problem is not with the audio device or the file you are listening to. Ensure the EQ settings on the device are set properly. Make sure you have a snug fit and that the driver is pointing directly towards the ear. |

CAUTION
The operation temperature of devices is between -10°C (14°F) to 45°C (113°F). The battery will not work properly if temperature is beyond that range. |

Cleaning Your Headphones
To keep your headphones clean, periodically wipe with a dry cloth.
Note on Static Electricity
In particularly dry air conditions, mild tingling may be felt on your ears. This is a result of static electricity accumulated in the body, and not a malfunction of the headphones. Wearing clothes made from natural materials can minimize the effect.
