FAQS

How do I clean the tower?

The tower should be cleaned out with a damp rag or paper towel. Avoid using soap or detergent as this may damage the filter.

How often should I change the water?

Change the water every 2-3 days to maintain optimal performance.

How often should I change the filter?

The filter should be changed every 3-4 months for optimal performance.

How do I know if my filter needs to be changed?

If your unit is not producing cool air, it is time to replace the filter. If you can see dust on your filter, it is time to replace it. If you have pets, you may need to change your filter more frequently as pet dander and hair can clog your filter more quickly.

Will this work outside under the patio ?

I love the artic aire. I feel it would work outside under the patio.

How many square feet does this cover for cooling?

150

Is there a filter that needs cleaning or replacing?

yes, dust sticks to it.

Does this chiller produce moist air that would rust metal furniture?

I doubt it. Its moist if you add water but I doubt it rust furniture.

Can you put this into a two prong outlet

Yes however, I returned mine because it really didn’t cool my small room. It’s more like a fan. To each there own.

Where can I buy replacement filters?

Is Arctic Air Pure Chill worth the money?

Overall, the Arctic Air Pure Chill Reviews is rated 4.9 out 5.0 stars. Pure Chill works well for most customers who have purchased it. Due to demand by our readers, we put it to the test and compared it to other air coolers. Some fake portable AC’s or air coolers are out there, taking people’s hard earned money.

Can you run a cooler without water?

Hot air will be released from the Air Cooler. The Air Cooler can only be used as a simple fan. Water is a must to get the cool air from the Air Cooler.

How long does the water last in the Arctic Air?

Using the Arctic Air Pure Chill without water isn’t optimal. However, even if the water tank is empty, the damp filter will keep the Arctic Air Pure Chill producing cool, moist air. Your personal space cooler will work up to 10 hours on one water tank fill so you will not have to keep refilling it often.

Should I close the windows when using air cooler?

The best place to position your air cooler is right in front of the window. Hotter the air, faster the evaporation and cooler the air blown out by the fan. It’s also important to create good ventilation in the room to push the humidity out. In order to do this, you need to open windows in the room.

How long does the Arctic Air Pure Chill last?

Arctic Air® Pure Chill™ can last up to a whole day, depending on one’s uses. If the fan mode is set high, the 450ml water tank might deplete much faster than at a lower setting. Additionally, leaving the device to run consistently throughout the day will consume most of the water.

Please Note: You may notice some condensation forming on the front grill. This is normal.

Designed by ARCTIC

Newly Developed PWM-Controlled Pump
The Liquid Freezer II Series features an all-new, in-house developed PWM-controlled pump with a copper base, improved efficiency, low power usage and quiet operation.

Maintenance-free Water Loop
The water loop is sealed, therefore no water or additives have to be refilled.

Motherboard VRM Cooling Fan
An additional 40 mm fan next to the pump helps to cool the motherboard‘s VRM chips. This prevents overheating, especially when overclocking, and allows for continuous heavy loads.

Improved Power Efficiency
Unlike most pumps from our competitors, which run at full load even when idle, our pump clocks down if no cooling is needed. This means it consumes less power and produces less noise, even with its additional fan for VRM cooling.

Optimal RAM Compatibility
Thanks to its compact pump with dimensions of only 78 x 98 x 53 mm, there are almost no restrictions when using RAM modules. Even RAM modules with larger heatsinks can be mounted without issues and will not be blocked by the CPU cooler.

P-fan for Increased Performance
The Liquid Freezer II 360 benefits from all advantages of our new P-fan.

  • High static pressure for increased cooling performance
  • Broad RPM range
  • Lower power consumption
  • Less vibrations
  • Extended life span
  • PWM for synchronous fan/pump control
For additional information, we recommend our FAQ.

Better Cooling – Better Performance
No thermal throttling on your CPU – even at high turbo clock speeds and overclocking, the Liquid Freezer II cools quietly, so you can reach the maximum FPS with minimal noise levels for the smoothest possible gaming experience.

Integrated Cable Management
The PWM cable of the fan is integrated into the sleeveless tubing. Thus fewer cables are exposed for a clean and sleek look within your case.

MX-4 Thermal Paste included
The high-performance MX-4 thermal compound is included and ensures the best cooling results.

Easy Installation & Secure Hold
Fast and easy to install and extremely reliable, the Liquid Freezer mounting system is compatible with Intel and AMD sockets.

Multilingual Manuals
We offer a regularly updated user manual in many languages conveniently at your fingertips anywhere and anytime.
