Bonbon Shade Pendant Light
Product Information
The Bonbon Shade is a lighting product designed by Ana Kras. It
is intended to be used with the HAY Cord Set/Cord Set Table or a
similar cord set. It is recommended to use this product with an LED
bulb. The fitting type for the bulb is E27 (EU) or E26 (US) and the
recommended power range is 8-15W. The color temperature of the
light emitted is warm white.
HAY emphasizes that using incorrect bulbs may lead to accidents,
injuries, or damages, and therefore, it is important to follow the
provided instructions for safe installation. The product is
specifically designed for use with LED-based light sources only. It
is suitable for indoor use only.
Product Usage Instructions
- Unpack all the parts and ensure that you have received all the
listed parts. - Unscrew and remove the ring from the E27 (EU) or E26 (US) bulb
holder of your chosen cord set. - Place the shade over the bulb holder with the bulb holder
facing downwards. - Carefully lead the bulb holder through the hole at the top of
the shade. - Screw the shade’s lower ring back onto the bulb holder to
secure the shade’s frame to the bulb holder. - Screw an LED light bulb into the bulb holder, ensuring that the
electricity is switched off to avoid damaging the bulb. - If using a table lamp, carefully pull the table lamp cord set
through the bottom of the weaving by gently separating the yarn
threads.
Care and Maintenance
To clean and maintain the shade, do not use wet or damp cloths.
Instead, use a dry, lint-free cloth or duster to remove any
dirt.
It is important to ensure that the power supply to the circuit
is turned off before installing the product. In some countries,
electrical installation may need to be carried out by authorized
electricians or contractors. Please check with your local authority
for guidance.
The product must not be modified in any way, and HAY does not
accept responsibility for any modified or tampered products.

This product is designed to be used in conjunction with the HAY Cord Set/Cord Set Table, or a similar cord set. HAY recommends using this product with a LED bulb.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

NOTE | The cord sets for the lamp are sold separately and are available in two designs a table/floor variant with an in-line rocker switch, and a pendant variant for ceiling lamps. Both variants can be used with the different lamp shade sizes and are not supplied with a bulb. If you are using this shade in conjunction with the

Unpack all the parts and check that you have received all the parts listed. Unscrew and remove the ring from the E27 (EU) or E26 (US) bulb holder of
your chosen cord set.
2. Place the shade over the bulb holder, with the bulb holder facing downwards.
3.
Carefully lead the bulb holder through the hole at the top of the shade, and then screw the shade’s lower ring back onto the bulb holder to secure the shade’s frame
to the bulb bolder.
4.
Screw an LED light bulb into the bulb holder. Ensure the electricity is switched off before fitting the bulb to avoid damaging it.
5.
Table Lamp only.
Carefully pull the table lamp cord set through the bottom of the weaving by gently separating the yarn threads.
