Bluetooth 4.1 Headset

Read this user manual carefully and completely before using the product.

Important safely information

  1. Do not listen at high volume levels for long periods of time to prevent hearing damage.
  2. Do not use the product if there is any potential danger.
  3. Do not sum the volume too high to hear sounds around you, turn down the volume if you feel a tinnitus or the volume is too high. 4.Do not use the product in an environment that requires your special attention(e.g. in traffic).
  4. Keep the product, accessories and packaging parts out of reach of children, to prevent accidents and choking hazards.
  5. Always keep the product dry to avoid corrosion
  6. Do not use the product if you feel obvious discomfod, irritation or have other adverse reactions.

Charging and battery
Only use charging cable supplied by Bluedio, or may cause damage to the headset.

Warning
The DC voltage should be 5V and current should exceed 400mA. Charging The headset built-in battery is rechargeable and non-detachable. Do not replace the battery.

  1. Switch off the headset before charging.
  2. Connect the smaller plug of the charging cable to the USE socket of the headset; connect the other plug to the USB socket of your computer or other charging device; the LED lights up red and the headset is being charged.
  3. When the headset is fully charged(about 1.5-2hrs), the LED lights up blue or LED goes out.

Headset Overview

Pairing mode
Keep the MF button pressed until the LED remains blue.

Reconnection mode
Keep the MF button pressed until the LED flashes blue.

Switch the headset off
Keep the MF Button pressed until the LED flashes blue then goes off.

Pair the headset with your mobile phone

  1. Keep the distance between the headset and your mobile phone ( or other Bluetooth device) within 1 meter. The closer, the better.
  2. Keep the MF button pressed until the LED remains blue. the headset is in pairing mode.
  3. Switch on the Bluetooth function of your mobile phone, on which start a search for Bluetooth devices.
  4. From the found Bluetooth devices, select “Bluedio” to establish a Bluetooth connection to the headset. If necessary, enter the default PIN code “0000”.
  5. Once the headset is paired with the mobile phone, the LED flashes blue.

Attention:
If pairing is not successful within 60 seconds, the LED goes off and the Bluetooth pairing ends. Repeat the pairing procedure.

Disconnect the headset with your mobile phone

  1. Switch the headset off.
  2. Or switch off the Bluetooth function of your mobile phone.
  3. Or take the headset from your mobile phone 20m (60ft) away or even farther.

Reconnect the paired headset to your mobile phone

  1. Keep the distance between the headset and your mobile phone( or other Bluetooth device) within 1 meter. The closer, the better.
  2. Keep the MF button pressed until the LED flashes blue. The headset is in reconnection mode.
  3. Switch on the Bluetooth function of your mobile phone. The headset will automatically reconnect to it.

Answer a call
Press the MF button once, or use your mobile phone to answer it.

End a call
Press the MF button once. Or use your mobile phone to end it.

Reject a call
After hearing a beep, keep the MF button pressed for around 2 seconds or use your mobile phone to reject it.

Call waiting
(need to be supported by your mobile phone) When you are on call 1, there comes call 2, to answer call 2 and keep call 1: keep the MF button pressed for around 2 seconds. When call 2 ends, to switch back to call 1: keep the MF button pressed for around 2 seconds

Redial the last call
Press the MF button Noce. Voice dIaling(need to be supported by your mobile phone) Keep the MF button pressed for around 2 seconds.

Micro-SD card mode:

  1. Insert the Micro-SD card.
  2. Switch the headset on, and it will enter into reconnection mod. Or connect the headset with your mobile phone via Bluetooth . 3. Keep the Wheel switch pressed until the LED lights up green. The headset will enter into the Micro-SD card mode.

• If the headset doesn’t connect with mobile phone via Bluetooth, it will not support Bluetooth conversation.
• The headset will enter into Micro-SD card mode in priority it there is a Micro-SD card inside it. Press the Mode button once to enter into FM mode. `When the headset and your mobile phone are under Bluetooth connection, if there comes a call during the Micro-SD card mode, the headset will emit a ringtone and the LED flashes blue. After call the headset will go back to the Micro-SD card mode.

Switching the Micro-SD card mode off
Keep the Wheel switch pressed for about 4 seconds, the headset will go back to Bluetooth music mode(if the headset and your mobile phone are under Bluetooth connection).

FM mode

  1. Switch the headset on, and it will enter into reconnection mode. Or connect the headset with your mobile phone via Bluetooth. 2. Keep the Wheel switch pressed until the LED lights up green. The headset will enter into the FM mode.
  2. Press the FM scan button once to search for channels, and the LED blinks green.
  3. It takes about 2 minutes to finish searching, after the LED lights up green , push the Wheel switch up or down to adjust channel.
  • If the headset doesn’t conned with mobile phone via Bluetooth, it will not support Bluetooth function.
  • The headset will enter into Micro-SD card mode in priority if there is a Micro-SD card inside the headset. Press the Mode button once to enter into FM mode.
  • When the headset and your mobile phone are under Bluetooth connection, if there comes a call during the FM mode, the headset will emit a ringtone and the LED flashes blue. After call the headset will go back to FM mode.

Switching the FM mode off
Keep the Wheel switch pressed for about 4 seconds, the headset will go back to Bluetooth music mode(if the headset and your mobile phone are under Bluetooth connection).

Track control/ volume adjustment
Track play/pause: press the MF button once.(Bluetooth mode) Play/pause: press the Wheel switch once.(Micro-SD card/FM mode) Next track/channel: push up the Wheel switch Previous track/channel: push down the wheel switch Volume up: keep pushing the Wheel switch up until reaching proper volume
Volume down: keep pushing the Wheel switch down until reaching proper volume

Micro-SD card Me transference
Connect the headset (with a Micro-SD card inside)with your PC via USB charging cable.

Mode Selection ( Bluetooth/Micro-SD card/FM)
Bluetooth mode to Micro-SD card/FM mode: Stop Bluetooth music playing: keep the Wheel switch pressed until the LED lights up green. the headset will enter into Micro-SD card mode in priority if there is a Micro-SD card inside it)

Note: *Press the Mode button once to select Micro-SD .rd/ FM mode. In Micro-SD card mode, remove the Micro-SD card, the headset will enter into FM mode automatically. In the FM mode, insert the twerp-SD card, the headset will enter into Micro-SD card mode automatically. Such operations may cause damage to the headset)

FAQ

  1. Headset cannot be paired to your mobile phone.
    Solution: Check if your mobile phone supports the HS or HF profile. Check if the Bluetooth search function of your phone is switched on. Check if your mobile phone is switched off. Check if the distance between the headset and your phone exceeds 10m.
  2. Headset cannot be switched on.
    Solution: The battery is flat. Recharge the battery.
  3. Can the battery be replaced?
    Answer: The battery is non-detachable and cannot be replaced.
  4. Can the headset be used while driving?
    Answer Do not use the headset in an environment that requires your special attention. If necessary, use it for communication.
  5. Bluetooth connection is suddenly Interrupted within 10 meter.
    Solution: Check if there is metal or other material interfering with the transmission.
  6. No audio signal
    Solution: Check if the headset is switched off. Check if the headset is paired. If necessary, pair the headset with the audio source again. Check the connection to your audio source. The volume is adjusted too low, increase the volume.
  7. Can the headset be used to control the APPS on your mobile phone.
    Answer Software settings of APPS may be varied , thus some APPS may not controlled by the headset.
  8. The headset cannot be recharged.
    Solution: Check the connection of USB plugs. If necessary, remove the USB cable and reconnect again. Switch the headset on then tum it off.
