This error might be caused by one of the following situations:
- Your receiver has not been activated for DIRECTV® service.
- Your receiver has received only part of the data it needs to decode our satellite signal.
Follow these steps to check if your receiver is activated:
- Sign in to your directv.com account
- Click or tap “View My Equipment” in the My Snapshot section
