INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing a Fingerlings® HUGS from WowWee®!
Your super plush pet pal is an expert at TLC and at being silly! Their long arms are perfect for big hugs and these cuddle monkeys never want to let you go! Swing them, pet them, and rock them to sleep, or give them a kiss and watch them kiss you back! Record what you say and hear them repeat it in funny ways!
Take a few minutes to look through this user manual so you can get to know your Fingerlings® HUGS!

Take note of the following when playing with your Fingerlings® HUGS:

  • Avoid putting articles of clothing on your Fingerlings® HUGS as it might inhibit the proper functioning of the sensors.
  • Do not immerse your Fingerlings ® HUGS or any parts of it in water or any other form of liquid.
  • If your Fingerlings® HUGS gets dirty, you can wash it using a clean cloth slightly dampened with warm water.
  • Do not kick your Fingerlings® in HUGS as this might damage the mechanical functions.
  • Do not put anything into your Fingerlings ® HUGS’ eyes.

HOW TO PLAY

Flip your Fingerlings® HUGS switch from “TRY ME” mode to “ON” mode.

WAKE THEM UP
Press your Fingerlings® on HUGS’s left ear.

HUG IT OUT
Connect your Fingerlings® HUGS Velcro paws together for a hug!

MWAH
Press your Fingerlings® HUGS’ mouth to your skin to get a kiss. The longer you hold it, the longer the kiss will last.

WEEEEE
Throw your Fingerlings® HUGS up in the air for a fun reaction!

TOOT
Shake your Fingerlings® HUGS for a silly surprise!

EXCUSE YOU 
Pat your Fingerlings® HUGS’s back for a burp!

WOO-HOO
Spin your Fingerlings® HUGS several times to get it super excited!

MONKEY HEAR, MONKEY SAY
Press and hold your Fingerlings® HUGS’ left ear and say something at the same time. When you let go, your Fingerlings® HUGS will repeat in a funny voice!

FUN LYING DOWN

TICKLE TIME
Place your Fingerlings® HUGS on a flat surface. Press your fingers on your Fingerlings® HUGS’s belly and gently shake to get a giggle!

NIGHTY NIGHT
Press your Fingerlings® HUGS’ mouth against your skin for a sleepy kiss.

SWEET DREAMS
Cradle and rock your Fingerlings® HUGS in your arms to hear sleepy sighs and snores.

FUN UPSIDE DOWN

MONKEY AROUND
Shake your Fingerlings® HUGS upside down to trigger funny monkey sounds!

RASPBERRY KISS
Press your Fingerlings® HUGS’ mouth against your skin for a raspberry kiss sound!

ALL PLAYED OUT?

To power down your Fingerlings® HUGS, turn it upside down, press the left ear and hold until your Fingerlings® HUGS says “Bye-bye!”

BATTERY INFORMATION

NOTE: Make sure the main power switch is set to OFF prior to changing the batteries. To install or change your Fingerlings® HUGS batteries:

  1. Locate and open the battery compartment door on the back of your Fingerlings® HUGS by opening the velcro flap.
  2. Use a Phillips screwdriver (not included) to remove the screw on the battery compartment door.
  3. Insert the 2 x “AAA” batteries (included) according to the diagram. Ensure that the positive and negative polarities match the illustrations inside the battery compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment door and replace the screw using the screwdriver. Do not over-tighten. Close the velcro flap on your Fingerlings® HUGS’ back.

LOW BATTERY INDICATORS:

When the batteries grow weak, Fingerlings® HUGS will become unresponsive. When this happens. Power OFF and replace all batteries.

IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION:

  • Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries [standard (Carbon-Zinc), Alkaline or rechargeable] or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
  • Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before recharging them.
  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charge under adult supervision.
  • Please respect the correct polarity, (+) and (-).
  • Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Do not dispose of batteries into fire.
  • Replace all batteries of the same type/brand at the same time.
  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
  • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
  • Batteries should be replaced by adults.
  • Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines.
  • Remove batteries if your Fingerlings® HUGS will be stored or not played with for more than
  • Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste. Check your local authority for recycling advice and facilities.
