Safety and Care Advice

Important – Please read these instructions fully before starting assembly

  • Check you have all the components and tools listed on pages 2 and 3.
  • Remove all fittings from the plastic bags and seperate them into their groups.
  • Keep children and animals away from the work area, small parts could choke if swallowed.
  • Make sure you have enough space to layout the parts before starting.
  • Do not stand or put weight on the product, this could cause damage.
  • Assemble the item as close to its final position (in the same room) as possible.
  • Assemble on a soft level surface to avoid damaging the unit or your floor.
  • Parts of the assembly will be easier with 2 people.
  • We do not recommend the use of power drill/drivers for inserting screws, as this could damage the unit. Only use hand screwdrivers.
  • Do Not dispose of packaging until assembly complete.
  • Dispose of all packaging carefully and responsibly when assembly complete.

Care and maintenance

  • To protect the furniture, position the furniture out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat sources such as radiators and fires.
  • Do not place the furniture in excessively dry and humid conditions.
  • From time to time check that there are no loose screws on this unit.
  • Always lift furniture when moving it (do not drag) otherwise the joints may be damaged.
  • Do not place hot or cold objects on the surface, always use protective mats to avoid marking the furniture.
  • This product should not be discarded with household waste. Take to your local authority waste disposal center.
  • Clean spills up immediately
  • Dust surfaces with a soft, dry, lint free cloth.
  • More stubborn marks can be removed using a damp (not wet) cloth. Wipe the surface dry immediately using a soft lint free cloth.
  • Do not use detergents, abrasive cleaning products or cleaning products that contain ammonia, solvents or silicone as these may damage the surface finish.

Assembly Instructions

Step 1
Fitting dowels to top
Insert 6 metal dowels B into the top panel 1053
Note: Tighten metal dowels up fully against the panel.
Do not over tighten.

Step 2
Fitting cams to the plinths and back rail panel.
Insert 4 cams A into the back rail panel 1057
Insert 4 cams A into the plinth 9422
Repeat on remaining plinth

Step 3
Fitting cams and dowels to the left end panel.
Insert 2 metal cams A , 2 metal dowels B into left end 1054 .

Step 4
Attaching runners to the right end panel.
A Position the runner so that the second hole from the front of the runner lines up with the pre-drilled hole nearest to the edge of the panel. Use screws F to secure the runner.
Front of runner

Slide the runner forward revealing the back of the runner. The second hole to the back of the runner will now line up with the second pre-drilled hole.
BB: Insert 4 metal dowels B and 2 cams A into the right end panel 1055 .

Step 5
Attaching runners to the divider panel.
AA: Position the runner so that the second hole from the front of the runner lines up with the pre-drilled hole nearest to the edge of the panel. Use screws F to secure the runner.

Slide the runner forward revealing the back of the runner. The second hole to the back of the runner will now line up with the second predrilled hole.

B Insert 4 metal dowels B and 2 cams A into the divider panel 1056.
Now, turn the panel over. Fittings in reverse side.
We suggest using the cardboard packaging to place under this panel to prevent damage to your floor.

C Insert 2 metal dowels B into the reverse side of the divider panel 1056 .

Step 6
Fitting dowels to the drawer front.
Insert 4 metal dowels B into the the drawer fronts 1058 .
Repeat on the remaining drawer fronts.

Step 7
A: Insert small cams into left 622xx7000 and right 623xx7000 drawer sides.
Note: Ensure cam arrow points towards the edge with hole.

B: Insert wooden dowels in drawer back
B 624xx7021 into holes in left 622xx7000 right 623xx7000 hand drawer sides.

C: Sit drawer bottom into grooves on the drawer front.
Ensure foil on the drawer bottom is facing upwards.

D: Locate the metal
dowels (already inserted) in the drawer front into the small cams in the left and right hand drawer sides. Ensure drawer sides are pressed against drawer front. Turn cams 180 degrees to lock.

E: Fit 2 bolts E through the pre-drilled hole in the drawer front 1058 and connect to the handle

Step 8
Connect the plinth panels to the divider panel. Connect the cams in the plinth panels 9422 to the metal dowels in the divider panel 1056 . Ensure that finished edges are facing the floor. Turn cam 180 degrees to tighten


Step 9
Connect the plinth panels to the right end panel.
Connect the cams in the plinth panels 9422 to the metal dowels in the rh end panel 1055 .
Ensure that finished edges are facing the floor.

Step 10
Connect the back rail to the divider panel.
Connect the cams in the back rail panel 1057 to the metal dowels in the divider panel 1056 . An additional person will be required to hold and provide support to the back rail before moving onto the next step.

Step 11
Connect the back rail to the left end panel.
Connect the cams in the back rail panel 1057 to the metal dowels in the left end panel 1054 .

Step 12
Connect the divider and end panels to the top panel.
Connect the dowels in the top panel 1053 to the cams in the left end 1054
right end 1055 and divider panel 1056 .

Step 13
Squaring up the unit. Slide the back panel 1059 into the grooves.
Important: Ensure a tape measure is used to square up unit!
Before securing the back it is necessary to square up the unit.
You can do this by measuring between ensuring these are the same (DIAG 1).
If they are not (DIAG 2)
Apply slight pressure as indicated (DIAG 3) until they are the same.

Step 14
Fixing back panel in place.
Use the panel pin guide when locating the panel pins I . This will hold the panel pins vertical and ensure
the correct distance from the edge.
Add stability blocks.
Loosen screw in the stabilty blocks K then Slide the thin point of the stability blocks between the back panel 1059 and the grooves. Once inserted fully, tighten the screws in the stability blocks.
Stand the unit upright once this step is complete.

Step 15
Fit the drawers.
For this step we recommend you follow the helpful hints on the following page.

Step 16

Fit the drawer helpful hints.

  • LINEUP THE FRONT HOLE IN THE DRAWER SIDE WITH THE 2ND THREADED
    HOLE IN THE RUNNER.
  • WHILE PUSHING THE RUNNER AGAINST THE DRAWER SIDE, SCREW THE BOLT FROM THE INSIDE OF THE DRAWER, THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE DRAWER SIDE AND INTO THREADED HOLE IN THE RUNNER.
  • REPEAT ON OPPOSITE DRAWER SIDE

Step 17
Attach silver trim Lay unit on its back
Locate the notch on silver trim into groove on left 1054 and right 1055 ends. Ensure the silver trims are positioned correctly. To insert silver trims use a hammer, place a cardboard packing piece between the hammer and silver trims to protect the silver trims.

Step 18
Fixing to wall
We recommend that this unit is fixed to a suitable wall to prevent possible overbalancing. We have included a fixing bracket for this. No fixing screws are provided as they will need to suit the wall type, and the length of screw will depend on the distance from the back of the unit to the wall. Please ensure fixings used are appropriate to your wall type. Locate the bracket to the top panel or to the end panel as close to top as possible. We do not specify exact location for the bracket, this is left to the customer’s discretion.

With help move the unit into position.

Warning: 2 people to lift.
Lift with care.

Warning: Please take care when drilling into the wall, avoiding any pipes and wires. Wear safety goggles when drilling. The use of residual current device (RCD) is recommended when working with tools.If in doubt consult a qualified person.

THE WALL ATTACHMENT DEVICE PROVIDED
Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tipping over. To help prevent topple over:
Use the wall attachment device provided. Never allow children to climb or hang on drawers, doors or shelves. Place heaviest items in the lower drawers or shelves. Unless specifically designed to accomodate, do not set TV’s or other heavy objects on top of this product. Never open more than one drawer at a time. An attachment device is provided with your product. However you will need to source suitable fixings for your wall type. If in doubt, please consult a qualified trades person.
Always ensure the wall to be drilled is free from hidden electrical wires, water and gas pipes.
