INTRODUCTION
Insignia NS-PCYTC55 thermal conductive compound is a grease-like, silicone material, heavily filled with heat conductive metal oxides. This combination promotes high thermal conductivity, low bleed, and hightemperature stability. This compound resists changes in consistency at temperatures up to 572°F (300°C), maintaining a positive heat sink seal to improve heat transfer from the electronic device to the heat sink or chassis which increases the overall efficiency of the device.

TO APPLY THE COMPOUND
- Make sure that the CPU die or heat spreader is completely clean of residue. If necessary, use isopropyl alcohol to clean the surface.
- Apply a small amount the compound to heat sink or CPU or both, then slide the applicator across the compound to create a thin, even layer. Repeat, if necessary.
- Install the heat sink.
