FAQS

what is the height, assembled, from floor to top of base. also what are width and length measurements?

13″ from floor to top of the base, and other measurements are 60″ wide and 80″ long.

what angle does the head/back bend and what angle does the leg/feet bend

Head/back goes to 70 degree and 60 degree for legs

Is the Ghostbed aa wall hugger?

“Wall hugger” is an adjustable power base term used to describe a function where, as the head rises, the entire bed moves back towards the head. The purpose of this is get around the fact that without this function, it is hard to reach items on your nightstands when the head is raised as you have moved forward. This is a very desirable feature and GhostBed apparently does not have it. Their website and the Amazon description make no mention of it and I believe they would if it had it. To move the entire bed (not the feet) within its frame is an expense feature since it requires a separately moving sturdy frame, separate linkages to the head-raising motor or a completely separate motor, and the base is much heavier. Few if any bases in this price range will be wall huggers. s

Are the legs adjustable in height?

The legs that come with it are not adjustable, however you probably could either cut them down as they are just metal pipes with a threaded bolt at one end and plastic end cap at another or you could probably match the threaded part and make a new leg if you needed it longer. So no they aren’t adjustable, if you are handy and you take your time you could figure something out though.

Two twin xl frames = california king, correct?

No it would be a king. Twin mattresses are normally 75″ long. The xl twin are 80″ . That is also the length of a king bed.

Is there any reason why our sleep number mattresses wouldn’t work on two xl twin adjustable bases?

We just got our Ghostbed Twin XL adjustable power bases to use on the Purple beds we ordered. We decided to go ahead and use them with our current current sleep number bed, while we wait for delivery on our purple mattress. It works perfectly with our older sleep number!

How can you put a adjustable bed in flat position without remote?

There is a box under the base that requires batteries-its purpose is moving the base into the flat position if you lose the remote or lose power to the home. Look at our GhostBed.com site for the FAQ and directions but its very simple.

Do the LED lights stay on underneath the ghostbed deluxe?

The LED lights could be turned ON or left OFF with the click of a button on the remote.

Can you put this on a regular bed frame?

This will drop into a regular bed furniture. It does NOT sit on a frame but rather inside it.
