PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Thanks for choosing our AC-RCO1 universal remote with 4000 codes. It controls 98% of air conditioners (A/C) in the world as a result of our patented digital keys input covering thousands of codes. It takes only a few seconds to set up this remote and saves you the time and cost of replacing the original remote. Please carefully follow these instructions for maximum ease of use.

#1—PREPARATION: Begin by opening the battery cover and snapping in 2 AAA batteries (VM-4, R03. not included). Note: to change from F° to C° simultaneously press TEMP + and -keys.

#2—FIND YOUR A/C BRAND: Locate it from the alpha list on the opposite side of this sheet. You’ll choose one of several 4-digit codes.

#3—HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT CODE: Example: ALPIN brand. First, try code 0252: press the SEL button for 1 second then release the button and 0252 LCD blinks. Then simply press the following numbers in sequence:

0 then 2 then 5 then 2 to enter code LCD now shows a clock. Point remote at your A/C and press the orange POWER button.

If 0252 does not power on your ALPIN A/C, try the second code, and repeat until a code works. For example: if 0252 does not work, try 0253, etc. until you can POWER your A/C on and off. Make sure you have the right brand name.

After your air conditioner is on, try other functions on the remote. If other functions don’t operate, please choose the next code until all the functions work. The remote control can access 4000 codes but will not operate if the code is greater than 4000.

#4—IF BRAND NOT LISTED, TRY AUTO-SEARCH: aim the remote control at your A/C, then press the SEL  button for 5 seconds and release. The remote is entering auto-search status which launches a signal continuously while the code is blinking and increasing. When the A/C receives the signal and sends a BUZZER press any key to confirm. After A/C powers on, try the other functions. If other functions do not work, repeat #4 until the remote operates your A/C.

CLOCK SETUP: First, press the CLOCK button and the clock signal “:” begins blinking. Second, press the TIME+ TIME- buttons until you reach the current time. Last, press the button again to stop the blinking temporarily. The time setting is complete. (If you don’t press the button, it will be set to its previous setting after 5 seconds)

TIMER ON: You can set the timer on, only turning off your air conditioner. 1. Press the ON button, the LCD displays the clock signal “:” and time blinking. 2. Press TIME+ TIME— button, adjust the time when you want to make the air conditioner turn on automatically. 3. Time blinking and it will stop after 5 seconds. The LCD displays current “:” time and clock signal. Now setting is complete.

TIMER OFF: You can set timer on, only after turning on your air conditioner. 1. Press the OFF button, the LCD displays the clock signal “:” and time blinking. 2. Press the TIME+ TIME— button; adjust the time when you want to make the air conditioner turn off automatically. 3. Time blinking, and it will stop after 5 seconds. The LCD displays current time “:” and clock signal. Now setting is complete.

NOTE: 1. If you press TIMER ON/OFF twice continuously, timer is deleted. 2. After timer setting is finished, you should make the remote control’s emit directs to your air conditioner’s receiving location in available distance. If not, the settings deleted. 3. If you want to see the timer, you should press the TIMER ON/OFF key, the LCD will display the time and after 5 seconds it will display current time.

ATTENTION: 1. If it is not used for a long time, remove the battery to avoid leakage liquid of the battery to damage the machine. When the LCD looks dim, please change batteries. (New and old batteries can not be used together) After the batteries are replaced every time, it is not necessary to set model code again. 2. As usual the LCD only displays the time when pressing model codes “Enter” button, you can find the code and it is showed on LCD. After 5 seconds it returns time. 3. Check carefully that there is no remora between remote controller and air conditioner when the time on/off doesn’t work. Because the operation if effective only when the air conditioner receives the time on/off signal from remote controller. 4. The manufacturer keeps the right to change the parameter and function of product.
