How to Install

1. Insert one end of the fitness tracker into the slot from the front of the wristband.
2. Press down on the other end with your thumb to push the fitness tracker completely into the slot.

Disassembling

Remove the band from your wrist, hold on to each end and pull on the wristband until you see a small gap between the fitness tracker and the wristband. Use your finger to pop the fitness tracker out of its slot from the front side of the wristband.

Charging

1. When using the band for the first time, connect it to the charging cable to turn it on.
2. Recharge your band immediately when the battery level is low.

Connecting with APP

1. Scan the QR code to download and install the app. Add the Redmi Smart Band 2 to the app first before you start using it.
   Compatible with: This product only supports certain Android or iOS systems. For detailed information, please check the product page on www.mi.com.
2. Log into your Xiaomi account in the app, and follow the instructions to connect and pair the band with your phone. Once the band vibrates and a pairing request is displayed on its touchscreen, tap to complete the pairing with your phone.
3. Note: Make sure the Bluetooth on your phone is enabled. Hold the phone and the band close to each other during pairing.

How to Use

When the band is successfully paired with your phone, it will start tracking and analyzing your daily activities and sleeping habits. Tap the touchscreen to light it up.

1. View notifications: Swipe down from the top on the home screen.
2. Enter the function list: Swipe up from the bottom on the home screen.
3. Switch widget: Swipe left or right when on the home screen page.
4. Go back: Swipe from the left edge to the right on other pages.

Precautions

• Comfortably tighten the band around your wrist about one-finger width away from your wrist bone.
• When using the band to measure your heart rate, please keep your wrist still.
• he band has a water resistance rating of 5ATM (50 meters in depth). It can be worn in the swimming pool, while swimming near the shore, or during other shallow-water activities. However, it cannot be used in hot showers, sauna, or diving. Furthermore, remember to avoid the band being directly impacted by swift currents during water sports. The water-resistant function is not permanent and may decline over time.
• The touchscreen of the band does not support underwater operations. When the band comes into contact with water, use a soft cloth to wipe away excess water from its surface before use.
• During daily use, avoid wearing the band too tightly and try to keep its contact area dry. Please clean the wristband regularly with water.
• Please stop using the product immediately and seek medical assistance if the contact area on your skin shows signs of redness or swelling.

Wearing headphones

1. Gently insert the ear cap down into the ear canal. It is better that sway the head and the headphones are not shaken.
2. Please pay attention to adjust the earphone to expose the microphone during the call.
3. When talking, put the headset microphone toward the mouth to make the call clearer.

The earphone itself is equipped with a medium eartip. If you feel unwell, it is recommended to replace the large or small eartip.

Charging

Before using the device, please tear off the isolation film at the charging contacts of the left and right headphones to fully charge the charging box and headphones.

• Plug in the charging cable to charge both the headset and the charging box.
• The charging box is not fully charged, while the charging indicator light is steady red. When the battery is fully charged, the charging indicator is off.
• During the charging of the headset, the red light of the earphone light is long. When the earphone is fully charged, the white light of the earphone light is on for 1 minute and then goes out.

Starting Up

1. When the earphone is in the charging box, the earphone is automatically turned on from the charging box.
2. When the headset is not in the charging box and is turned off, press and hold the multi-function button for about 1 second (the white light is on).

Shut Down

1. Put it into the charging box and the headset will automatically shut down.
2. When the power is on, press and hold the multi-function button for about 5 seconds (the red light is on for 2 seconds).

Use Dual Headphones

Automatically Connect:
Take two earphones out of the charging box at the same time, wait for 2-3 seconds to automatically turn on the headphone, and turn on the device Bluetooth search “RedmiAirDots_R” when the right headphone white light flashes and click to complete the connection. If the connection fails, put the headset back in the charging case. Repeat the above operation. After the first connection, the headset can be automatically connected back to the last paired device (Bluetooth function needs to be turned on).
Note: The headset has been initialized at the factory and can be taken out for related operations directly.

Manual Connection:
When the headset is turned off, manually open two headphones, the white light flashes quickly and waits for the left and right headphones to be connected in series. After the serial connection is successful, the right earphone white light flashes slowly, and the device Bluetooth is connected to connect.

Use Single Earphone

Automatic connection: Take out a headset from the charging idea. When the indicator light flashes from white light to slow network after auto power on, open the device Bluetooth search “RedmiArDots_R” (or “RedniArDos_L”) and click to complete the connection.
After the first connection, the headset can be automatically connected back to the last paired device (Bluetooth needs to be turned on).
Note: The left earphone (L) has a relatively long automatic connection time.

Manual connection: When the headset is turned off, manually turn on one of the machines. When the headset turns white and flash slowly, turn on the Bluetooth function of the device to connect the corresponding headset.

Headset Reset

If the headset cannot be connected properly, please reset the headset as follows: Take the headset out of the charging box, and in the off state, press and hold the two earphone multi-function keys for about 15 seconds, and alternately flash three times in the second red and white light. Then release and put back the charging box, delete the connection record on the device and reconnect. (including clearing the records where the two headphones are paired in series and paired with the device)

Product Overview

Charging

Before use, please remove the protective film from the contact points on both earbuds and fully charge the charging case and the buds.

Protective Film
Connect the charging cable to the charging case and keep the earbuds inside the case to charge simultaneously.
When the charging case is not fully charged, its indicator is white. When it is fully charged, its indicator is off.

Turning On

Make sure the charging case is not out of battery with earbuds in it. The earbuds will automatically turn on when removed from the charging case.

Turning Off

Make sure the charging case is not out of battery. Place both earbuds in the charging case and the indicators on them will turn white. The earbuds will automatically disconnect and start charging, and turn off once being fully charged.
When the earbuds enter the pairing state and are out of the charging case, they will be automatically turned off if not connecting to any device within 10 minutes.

Wearing

• Gently place the earbud into your ear canal, then adjust it to a comfortable position.
• During calls, make sure to point the primary microphone towards your mouth for clearer calls.

Note: The M-size ear tips and L-size ear hooks are pre-installed on the earbuds. If they are not suitable, please replace them with a proper size.

Connection

First-time connection
Open the lid and take out the earbuds. When the indicators on both earbuds slowly blink white, it means the earbuds can be connected. Enable the Bluetooth function on your phone, and then search and tap “Redmi Buds 3 Lite” to connect the earbuds.
Note: If the earbuds cannot be connected, place them back into the charging case, close the lid and repeat the above operation.

Connecting to other devices
Disable the Bluetooth connection of the paired phone or reset the earbuds to connect to other devices.

Reset Earbuds

If the earbuds cannot connect properly, please carry out the following steps to reset them. Make sure the charging case is not out of battery before reset. Open the lid of the charging case and place both earbuds in the case. Press and hold the multi-function touch areas on both earbuds for at least five seconds and then release. Indicators on both earbuds will blink white three times, indicating the earbuds have been reset successfully. (The connection records between the left and right earbuds, and the earbuds and the phone have been cleared.)

Wake up the phone’s voice assistant
When wearing the earbuds (not during a call), tap the multi-function touch area three times to wake up the voice assistant.*

Switch between single/dual bud mode
When both buds are connected successfully, they are in dual-bud mode. If place one of the buds back into the charging case and close its lid, the other bud will automatically enter the single-bud mode. When removing the second bud from the charging case, the
the dual-bud mode will automatically be restored again.

Automatic connection
Once the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, they will automatically connect to the most recently used Bluetooth device. If the earbuds are not connected to any device, they will automatically enter the awaiting connection mode.

Disconnected
When the device’s Bluetooth is disabled or when it manually disconnects from the earbuds, the earbuds will automatically enter the awaiting connection state. If no device is connected within 10 minutes, the earbuds will turn off automatically.

Low latency mode
When the earbuds are connected to the phone (not during a call), simultaneously press and hold the multi-function touch areas of the left and the right earbuds to enable the low latency mode. Once the low latency mode is enabled, simultaneously press and hold the multi-function touch areas of the left and the right earbuds or put both earbuds into the charging case to disable the low latency mode.

Note: Once the weather is cold outdoors and your hands become dry, the buds may not function when touching them.

Can I pair one at a time?

I do it all the time, just only take one out of the case and leave the other one in there, and it will stay off unless it’s taken out. It pairs automatically after you’ve set it up to your phone a few times.

Do they fit in small ear canals?

I am a full grown adult male with smaller ear canels. Even the smallest fitting they supply in the case does not work for me. I am going to try a 6mm or 8mm earbud.

Can the noise cancellation be turned off and on?

The Everyday’s actually have an “awareness mode” that will let outside noise pass through the microphone and into your ears, effectively “turning off” the passive noise cancellation. It works pretty well, though not as nice as having togglable active noise cancellation.

Can you mono use?

It is possible to only pair/use one of the earbuds at a time.

Are these waterprroof? can you swim wit them?

The Everyday Earbuds are rated IPX6 waterproof meaning they can handle rain and spills. They should not be used while swimming

Product Usage Instructions

Turn On/Off Low Latency Mode:

1. When the earbuds are not in calling mode, open the charging box
   and take out the earbuds.
2. Put on the earbuds and long press and hold the left and right
   ear touch areas simultaneously for 1.5 seconds to turn on/off the
   Low Latency Mode.
3. If needed, you can press and hold the touch areas again to
   enable this mode.
4. When the Low Latency Mode is enabled, put the earbuds into the

Restoring Factory Settings:

1. Ensure that the charging box is powered and the earbuds are in
