Thank you for choosing the SteelSeries 6Gv2. This short manual supplied with the SteelSeries 6Gv2 keyboard is designed to introduce you to all of the keyboard features and assist you in both setup and use. The SteelSeries 6Gv2 utilizes a powerful buffer-system created specifically for gaming. The SteelSeries G keyboard product line is the only keyboard on the market that supports as many simultaneous key pressure as there are keys on the keyboard. In first person shooter (FPS) games, this “anti-ghosting” feature allows a player to move, crouch, aim, fire and even check the scoreboard at the same time. The SteelSeries 6Gv2 also includes Media Keys that allow quick access to audio controls including mute and volume.

Installation

To connect keyboard: Plug USB connector into a USB port or use the included PS2 adapter to make the appropriate connection.

Note: The PS/2 connection supports 104 simultaneous key presses while the USB connection supports up to 6 simultaneous keys plus modifier. So for maximum simultaneous key press capability use the PS/2 adapter and connect it to a PS/2 port on your computer.

Access the SteelSeries Media Keys by pressing and holding the SteelSeries Key in combination with the Media Keys.
