- To turn on the unit, press the POWER button.
- To select a cooking function, turn the START/PAUSE dial.
- To select cook time or number of slices, press TIME/SLICE button and use the dial to adjust.
- To select temperature or darkness level, press the TEMP/DARKNESS button and use the dial to adjust.
- To begin cooking, press the START/PAUSE button. While cooking, turn the dial to add more time, or press the button to pause time.
- Press the LIGHT button to turn the interior light on or off while cooking. The light will automatically turn on 30 seconds before the cook time ends.

Using the Air Roast function, fresh ingredients, and some guidelines below, create your own masterpieces in the Foodi™ Digital Air Fry Oven.

PREHEAT
The unit preheats quickly, so prep all ingredients before preheating. Time will start counting down immediately after the unit is preheated. To add time simply turn the dial.

Place ingredients in the air fry basket. If ingredients are fatty, oily, or marinated, place the sheet pan under the basket first.
FAQ’S
Can I use this for baking?
No, this is not a convection oven. You can use the Bake function for baking, but it will take longer.
Can I use metal pans?
No, you must use non-metal pans. Metal will block the infrared heat and cause the food to cook unevenly.
Will this work on my countertop?
Yes, it has a slim profile that fits under most cabinets.
How much counter space does it take up?
The unit stands 12.5 inches tall and is 18 inches wide. It takes up less than 2 square feet of counter space.
Can I leave the unit on all day?
No, you must turn off the unit when not in use to prevent overheating and damage to the unit.
Does it come with a recipe book?
Yes, we’ve included a recipe book with all of our recipes tested in our own kitchen!
Can I use foil in my Ninja Foodi digital air fry oven?
Yes. Use aluminum foil on the sheet pan or wire rack for easy cleaning after cooking. Make sure the aluminum is not touching the top heating elements. Do not wrap the crumb tray in aluminum foil.
Does the Ninja Foodi use a lot of electricity?
The Ninja Foodi will use more electricity than the Philips Air Fryer or the Cosori Air Fryer because it is higher wattage and has more functions. But compared to the oven and other electric gadgets the Ninja Foodi is a fantastic energy saver and money saver.
What are the disadvantages of the Ninja Foodi?
It just kind of sits there, and it’s heavy and awkward while you pressure cook.” Many reviewers also point out that the Ninja Foodi is incredibly bulky, and while it does take the place of multiple appliances, it’s still not a super convenient machine to store.
What is the difference between the Ninja Foodi and the Ninja Foodi XL?
The functions of the Ninja Foodi XL Smart Indoor Grill are the same with one exception. The XL Smart Grill has an added function of Broil. *Temperatures in Celsius are approximate, I do not have the model that shows the degrees in Celsius so I do not know the exact temperature settings that Ninja set for the features.

What are the disadvantages of air fryer?
