FUNCTIONS MOTION SENSOR
Day/Night setting. During the daytime, the lights will always turn on when triggered by motion. At night the lights will only turn on when it is dark and they are triggered by motion.
The light sources connected to the motion sensor can be easily set at either 30% or 100% brightness.
Button for pairing. Add IKEA Smart lighting products to your system. Follow the instructions below:
ADDING DEVICES TO YOUR MOTION SENSOR
Before you can use your motion sensor it must be paired to the light source you want to steer. If you want to add more light sources, just repeat the steps below for each individual light source.
- Make sure that your light source is installed and the power is turned on.
- Hold the motion sensor close to the light source you want to add (no more than 5 km away).
- Press and hold the pairing button for at least 10 seconds. A red LED light will shine steadily on the rear side of the motion sensor.
- Your light source will flash one time to indicate that it has successfully paired.
Up to 10 light sources can be paired with 1 motion sensor. Make sure to pair them one at a time. If the light sources are close to each other, disconnect those that have already been paired from the main power switch.
FACTORY RESET
Lighting products:
Toggle the main power switch 6 times.
Motion sensor:
Press the pairing button 4 times within 5 seconds.
CHANGE BATTERY:
When the unit is used regularly and as intended, the batteries will last for approximately 2 years. A red LED indicator will shine steadily when it’s time to replace the batteries. Open the battery lid and replace the batteries with CR2032 type batteries.
IMPORTANT!
- The unit can be used in temperatures ranging from 0ºC to 40 ºC.
- Do not leave the unit in direct sunlight or near any heat source, since this can cause overheating.
- Do not subject the unit to wet or excessively dusty environments since this can cause damage to the unit.
- The range between this unit and the receiver is measured in the open air.
- Different building materials and placement of the units can affect the wireless connectivity range.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To clean the motion sensor wipe with a soft dry cloth.
NOTE!
Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents since this can damage the product.
