- Assemble Suction Cup Bracket
- Adjust Suction Cup Bracket to Ensure RAD 480i is Level with Road
- Attach Suction Cup Bracket to Windshield
- Attach RAD 480i to Suction Cup Bracke
- Connect Detector to 12V Power Source
Dashboard Mounting
- Attach Hook & Loop to Detector
- Attach Detector to Dashboard Surface
- Connect Detector to 12V Power Source
Connect the RAD 480i to Your Smartphone via
- Power on the RAD 480i.
Download and install the Drive Smarter® app on your smartphone. - After registering your account in the Drive Smarter® app, press the Account button and then select “Add New Device”.

Tips

- Make sure the power cord is properly connected to your RAD 480i
- Make sure the socket of your vehicle’s cigarette lighter or 12V accessory port is clean and free of corrosion
- Make sure the power cord’s adapter is firmly seated in the socket of the cigarette lighter or 12V accessory port and the power LED is on
