As well as acting as a fan providing effective personal comfort, this IQ-PURE COOL air purifier provides multiple stages of air purification. This unit features HEPA and activated carbon filters for improved air filtration.

  •  Antibacterial HEPA filter removes 99.5% of airborne particles of 0.25 micrometers or larger.
  • Activated carbon filter removes unpleasant odours and absorbs harmful substances such as formaldehyde and benzenes.

  • Personal use in domestic and office space to improve air quality
  • Helps smokers to reduce contaminants within the air
  • Can help improve the symptoms of asthma and pollen allergies
  • Great for children’s rooms and small offices

  • LED display with touch screen controls
  • 12 hours start / stop timer
  • Easy to use remote control with magnetic holder
  •  Quiet DC motor with 9 fan speeds
  •  Oscillation function
  • Adjustable vertical airflow direction
  • Dual filter compartments

NOTE: This air purifier is not a substitute for proper ventilation, regular vacuum cleaning or for use in place of a cooker hood whilst cooking. If the relative humidity is above 60% we recommend using a dehumidifier to reduce the humidity.
Before first use ensure that all the packaging has been removed from the filters and that they are inserted correctly into the filter compartments.

VOC (Volatile Organic Compound): VOCs come from motor vehicle exhausts, gasoline vapour, pollutants such as formaldehyde, ammonia and many other common and chemical solvents such as paints and glues, or can  be a by-product of mould growth. VOCs cause irritation to the eyes and or nose as well as causing headaches,  nausea and even potential damage to the central nervous system. Pressed wood furniture, newly decorated rooms,
paint and cleaning solvents are common sources of VOCs.
Mold / Fungus: These can affect our respiratory system and cause allergic reactions, like a runny nose, eye and  throat irritation, headaches, fatigue and aggravation of asthma. Other indoor pollutants include bacteria, viruses, dust mites and pollen.
Emissions from electronic office equipment: Many studies, including those from EPA and the University of  California Berkley, have reported that emissions from office equipment such as computers and printers, include  VOCs, ultra-fine particles and ozone. These emissions have been proven to have a negative effect on the health of  many people which can be reduced by using an air purifier.
Using HEPA filters and Activated Carbon filters An effective HEPA filter is absolutely necessary to remove particles, even at a microscopic level; it ensures that the particles are not spread. The antibacterial activated carbon on the IQ-PURE COOL is a natural material biosynthesized from walnut shell, the absorption area of activated carbon is very large at up to 300,000 square meters. The activated carbon filter will absorb unpleasant odours and reduce the VOC content in the air.

  • Do not cover or restrict the airflow from the outlet or inlet grills.
  •  For maximum performance and safety, the minimum distance from a wall or objects hould be 30cm. Keep  away from other electrical appliances.
  • Keep the filters clean. Under normal conditions, filters should only need cleaning once every two weeks  (approximately). Since the filters remove airborne particles, more frequent cleaning may be necessary,  depending on the air quality.

Press the power button to turn the air purifier on and off. When first turned on the fan will default to medium speed (F5)

Repeatedly press the fan button to scroll through the 9 fan speeds between Low (F1) and High (F9).
The timer can be set to either turn the appliance on or off. It has a duration of up to 12 hours, and can be set in 15 min intervals up to 1 hour, and then in 1-hour increments. ON TIMER: This can be set by repeatedly pressing the timer button while the unit is in standby. OFF TIMER: This can be set by repeatedly pressing the timer button while the unit is running.

Press to turn the oscillation function on. When activated the unit will slowly turn from left to right.

The remote control offers the same functionality as the control panel, with the added benefit of multiple buttons for the timer and fan speed.

  • The controls respond to touch, so you don’t need to apply any pressure.
  • Use the ball of your finger, not its tip.
  • Make sure the controls are always clean, dry, and that no objects are covering them.

Always turn off the unit and unplug from the mains before cleaning or performing any maintenance.

  •  When the unit is not in use for long periods, it is advisable to remove the plug from the power socket.
  • Do not use chemical solvents (such as benzene, alcohol or gasoline) as they may cause irreversible damage to the unit.
  • Do not assemble the unit and power it on before all the parts are completely dry. Any other maintenance than what is described in this user manual must be only performed by the service centre.

The life of the filters will vary depending both on the amount of use the appliance receives, and the air quality in the area the appliance is situated. We advise the filters to be replaced every six months based on a normal operating environment. During filter maintenance, it is advisable to swap the filters between the primary and secondary compartments to maintain performance and extend their life.

Open the filter covers by gently removing the 2 side panels. Remove the old filters by simply pulling on the tabs to release them. Replace the filters before refitting the filter covers, ensuring the covers click into place.

We offer both a replacement set of HEPA + Activated Carbon filter (FIL-IQ-PURECOOL)
and an enhanced HEPA filter (HPFILTER-IQ-PURECOOL) which are available from the same stockist as the appliance and are available under the references below.

Replacement filter pack (1 x HEPA and 1 x ACTIVATED CARBON). Two packs should be ordered if replacing  the filters in both the Primary and Secondary compartments. This is great for typical use with similar sized HEPA  and Activated Carbon filters which offer a good balance of filtering dust, mould, pollen while also removing odours from the air, such as the smell of tobacco smoke or VOCs.

Enhanced filter pack containing a 2-in-1 filter. The dual filter contains an enhanced True HEPA filter with a  greater filtration surface while still incorporating a slimmer activated carbon layer. This will provide upgraded  performance when placed in the primary filter compartment and is ideal in smoke free environments. It is great at  combating pet dander, pollen, mites and reducing allergens. This filter can be used in combination with standard  filters in the secondary compartment, or one can be placed in each compartment for a further increase in performance.

  •  Only use tepid water and a mild detergent on a soft cloth.
  •  Do not use bleach or abrasives.
  • Do not splash water directly onto the main unit.

  • Hoover the filters gently every 2-3 weeks or more often if used in dusty or polluted environments.
  •  Ensure the filters are not damaged during the cleaning process and replace if they show any signs of damage.
  • Wipe the filter holding area with a dry cloth if necessary.

  • Use water and a mild detergent.
  • Do not use bleach or abrasives.
  •  Do not spray water inside the unit.
  • f the clean air outlet grilles get soiled easily, use a vacuum attachment or soft brush to clean.

Not working Check that the power is connected and is the correct rating.
Abnormal Smells Check if the filters are clean. Replace the filters.
Pollutants not removed and loud
noise when running
Check if the filters are clean. Replace the filters.
