GETTING STARTED

Charging your speaker

Speaker must be charged before use.

  • Connect small plug of USB charging cable to USB port and connect the other end to a powered USB adapter.
  • LED indicator will glow red while charging and turn offonce charged.
  • Speaker should provide about 3-4 hours of audio when fully charged.
  • When battery is low, 3 tones will sound every 10 seconds until the unit shuts off.

Basic Controls

LED INDICATORS

BLUETOOTH

Pairing establishes a unique communication connection between your Bluetooth device and the speaker. Once paired, you will be able to stream audio wirelessly to your iHv317 speaker.

  1. The speaker will enter auto-pairing mode whenever you turn it ON. The LED indicator on the back of the speaker will flash blue.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth mode on your device (under Settings, Connections or similar).
  3. Select “iHv317” on your device’s menu of Bluetooth devices. When pairing is successful, the LED will glow solid blue. You can now begin to stream audio and calls from your device. To conserve the battery, remember to shut o the speaker when you are done listening.

SPEAKERPHONE

Press the Light/Speakerphone Button to answer or end a call.
Press and hold the Play/Pause Button to decline a call.

AUX MODE

Connect one end of an audio cable (not included) into the AUX-IN jack and the other end to the headphone jack of your audio device.

  • Press PLAY on your audio device to start playback.
  • Control/navigate tracks from your audio device, too.
  • Press the Play/Pause Button on the speaker to mute audio.
  • Unplug the audio cable to resume Bluetooth audio operation.

RESET

To reset the unit, insert the extended tip of a paper clip or other thin tool into the AUX-in jack.

When used in the directed manner, this unit has been designed and manufactured to ensure your personal safety. However, improper use can result in potential electrical shock or fire hazards. Take special note of all warnings listed in these instructions and on the unit.

Water and Moisture – The unit should not be used near water. For example: near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a wet basement.

Cleaning – The unit should be cleaned only with dry cloth. Do not use solvents, etc

Heat – The unit should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer

Damage Requiring Service – The unit should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:

A. the power supply cable or plug has been damaged.
B. objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled into the enclosure.
C. the unit has been exposed to rain.
D. the unit has been dropped or the enclosure damaged.
E. the unit exhibits a marked change in performance or does not operate normally.

Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.

No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on this product.

This product is suitable for use in tropical and/or moderate climates.

CAUTION – Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

Do not dispose of batteries in the household trash or fire
