IKEA 365+ Coffee/Tea Maker

The IKEA 365+ Coffee/Tea Maker is a glass pot with a plunger that allows you to brew coffee or tea easily. Here are some product details:

  • Material: Glass, Plastic, Stainless steel
  • Volume: 1L
  • Dimensions: Height: 22 cm, Diameter: 10 cm
  • Weight: 0.74 kg

Instructions for Use

Before using the coffee/tea maker for the first time, wash, rinse and dry carefully. Here are the usage instructions:

  1. Remove the plunger and warm the glass coffee pot by rinsing it with hot water.
  2. Add ground coffee (preferably coarsely-ground) or tea.
  3. Top up with water to a level just below the spout. For the very best flavor, use water which is just a degree or so below boiling. Stir.
  4. Put the plunger in place, but do not press the filter down. Leave it under the lid for a minute or two, to give time for the coffee/tea and water to mix.
  5. Hold the handle and slowly press the plunger down.
  6. If the plunger becomes difficult to push down, remove it from the pot, and then slowly plunge down again vertically.

Cleaning

After use, clean the coffee/tea maker thoroughly. It is important to remove all coffee or tea residue to prevent it from affecting the taste of the next brew. Here are some cleaning tips:

  • Separate all parts of the coffee/tea maker and wash in warm soapy water.
  • Rinse all parts thoroughly and dry with a clean cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on any part of the coffee/tea maker.
  • The glass pot can be washed in the dishwasher, but the plastic and metal parts should be washed by hand.

  • The coffee/tea maker can be taken apart as shown in the picture.

Important!

  • Glass is a fragile material and should be handled with care at all times.
  • Never use a glass container that has scratches, cracks or other visible damages, since this may weaken the material and cause the glass to break. Therefore, always check for damage to the glass before use. Avoid bumping the glass container against objects that could cause damage, for example a dishwasher, worktop or cabinet.
  • The product must not be used by children and should be kept out of the reach of children. The glass container may contain boiling water which can cause burns.
  • The glass container should not be exposed to great variations in temperature since this may cause the glass to crack. Therefore, never place a hot glass container on a cold or wet surface.
  • The coffee/tea maker is not safe to use on a hot plate, gas ring or ceramic hob.
