- #106 Baby Blue 3 balls (C)

- Lion Brand® circular needle size 10.5 (6.5 mm)
- Lion Brand® large-eyed blunt needle
- Lion Brand® stitch markers
GAUGE
12 sts = about 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS and p on WS).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.
NOTES
- The Afghan is worked in one piece with 2 strands of yarn held together.
- A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of sts. Work back and forth in rows on the circular needle as if working on straight needles.
AFGHAN
With 2 strands of A, cast on 114 sts.
BEGINNING BORDER
Work in Garter st (knit every st on every row) for 7 rows.
BODY OF AFGHAN
Set Up Row (RS): Knit 5, place marker, k to last 5 sts, place marker, knit last 5 sts.
Row 1: Work in Garter st to marker, slip maker, work in St st (k on RS, p on WS) to next marker, slip marker, work in Garter st to end of row.
Rows 2-24: Repeat Row 1.
Change to 1 strand each of A and B held together and repeat Row 1 for 28 times.
Change to 2 strands of B held together and repeat Row 1 for 28 times.
Change to 1 strand each of B and C held together and repeat Row 1 for 28 times.
Change to 2 strands of C held together and repeat Row 1 for 28 times.
Change to 1 strand each of C and D held together and repeat Row 1 for 28 times.
Change to 2 strands of D held together and repeat Row 1 for 24 times.
At the end of the last row, remove markers.
ENDING BORDER
With 2 strands of D held together, work in Garter st across all sts for 8 rows. Bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.
