SUPER AIR FRYER OVEN
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following:

  1.  Read all instructions before using this product.
  2. This appliance generates heat during use. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. Always protect your hands with non-slip oven mitts or similar.
  3.  To protect against electric shock, do not place or immerse the cord, plugs, or appliances in water or other liquid.
  4. This appliance is not to be used by children or by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities.
  5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Children should not play with the appliance.
  6. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning. Allow cooling before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. To disconnect, turn any control to OFF, then unplug the power cord from the outlet. Do not disconnect by pulling on the cord. Always grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
  7. Return appliance to the manufacturer (see warranty) for examination, repair or adjustment.
  8. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  9. Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
  10. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  11. Do not place on or near wet surfaces, or heat sources such as a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  12. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance or removing a pan, containing hot oil or other hot liquids. Always protect your hands with non-slip oven mitts or similar.
  13. Do not use appliances for other than intended use. Misuse can cause injuries. Intended for household countertop use only. Keep 6 inches (152 mm) clear from the wall and on all sides. Always use the appliance on a dry, stable, level surface.
  14. Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in an Air Fryer Oven as they may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
  15. A fire may occur if the Air Fryer Oven is covered, touching or near flammable materials, including curtains, draperies, towels, walls, and the like, when in operation. Do not store any item on top of the appliance when in operation.
  16. Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts, creating a risk of electric shock.
  17. Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of materials other than metal or glass.
  18. Do not store any materials, other than manufacturers’ recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
  19. Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: paper, cardboard, plastic, or any materials that may catch fire or melt.
  20. Do not cover the drip tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the air fryer.
  21. Empty the drip tray after each use.
  22. The glass door is made of tempered glass. Always inspect the glass door for chips, cracks or any other damage. Do not use the Air Fryer Oven if the glass door is damaged, as the glass may shatter during use.
  23. Do not use with a programmer, timer, wireless plug adapter or outlet that allows control remotely, or connect to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
  24. Hot steam is released during air fryer operation. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the vent.

HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY

POWER CORD INSTRUCTIONS:
A short power-supply cord or detachable power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
a. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;
b. The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally; and
c. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the cord set or extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
Do not pull, twist or otherwise abuse the power cord.

NOTICES

  1.  Some countertop and table surfaces are not designed to withstand the prolonged heat generated by certain appliances. Do not set the heated unit on a finished wood table.  We recommend placing a hot pad or trivet under your air fryer to prevent possible damage to the surface.
  2. During initial use of this appliance, some slight smoke and/or odor may be detected. This is normal with many heating appliances and will not recur after a few uses.

LEARNING ABOUT YOUR AIR FRYER OVEN

Parts and Accessories

1. Air Flow Racks (3)

  • Ideal for cooking a variety of foods, such as chicken breast, fish or steak
  • Best accessory to use for dehydrating
  • If using one Air Flow Rack place it on the top slot for more crisp results
  • If using more than one Air Flow Rack switch the position of the racks throughout the cooking cycle for a more even crisp.
  • When using Air Flow Racks place a sheet of parchment paper on each rack to prevent the food from sticking.

2. Rotisserie Handling Fork
• Use the Rotisserie Handling Fork to place and remove the Rotating Mesh Basket and the Rotisserie Spit into Rotisserie Holders.

3. Rotisserie Spit 

  • Ideal for cooking rotisserie chicken.
  • It is advisable to secure the whole chicken with kitchen twine.
  • To use the Rotisserie Spit, put the shaft (3a) through the chicken then slide the forks (3b) down the sides of the shaft and into the meat. Next, lock the forks into place using the screw set (3c) provided. Using the Rotisserie Handling Fork, place the chicken into the rotisserie holder in the unit.

4. Rotating Mesh Basket

  • Ideal for cooking fries, vegetables and chicken wings, as well as roasting nuts and other snacks.
  •  To use the Rotating Mesh Basket, place food in the Rotating Mesh Basket then lock it. Using the Rotisserie Handling Fork, place the Rotating Mesh Basket into the Rotisserie  Holders.

5. Drip Tray (not shown)

  • Used to catch oil and crumbs throughout the cooking cycle.
  • Place drip tray at the bottom of the unit before beginning the cooking cycle.
  • Be sure to wash the Drip Tray after every use.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Preparing Your Air Fryer Oven

  1. Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels in and on the unit.
  2.  Wash all accessories and wipe the inside of the unit with a damp cloth.
  3. Place the unit on a flat surface.
  4. Plug the air fryer oven into an electrical outlet.
  5. Press and hold the Power button until the unit turns on.

Manual Mode

  1. Choose the desired manual mode – Air Fry, Bake or Dehydrate.
  2. To set temperature and time use the plus and minus signs next to the temperature ( ) and time ( ) the symbol then press Start ( ) for the air fryer oven to preheat.
  3. Once preheat is complete an audible alert will sound and will appear on the display. Open the oven door and place food inside using desired accessories then close the door. Press Start () to begin the cooking cycle.
    Note: When using Air Fry mode, Rotate () automatically turns on. Be sure to turn it off when cooking with the Air Flow Racks. When using Bake mode, Rotate ( ) will need to  be turned on if using the Mesh Basket or Rotisserie Spit.
  4. Audible alert will sound once the timer is done. Carefully remove the food with a heat-safe cooking utensil or the Rotisserie Handling Fork.

Note: To pause the cooking cycle open the door. To stop the cooking cycle press Start/Stop ().

Preset Mode

  1. Choose the desired Preset – Fries, Wings , Veggies or Steak . Temperature and time will automatically appear.
    Note: Rotate automatically turns on for the Fries preset. To turn off simply press the Rotate ( ) button.
  2. Press Start () for Air Fryer Oven to preheat.
  3.  Once preheat is complete an audible alert will sound and will appear on the display. Open the oven door and place food inside using desired accessories then close the door.  Press Start ( ) to begin the cooking cycle.
  4. Audible alert will sound once the timer is done. Carefully remove the food with a heat-safe cooking utensil or the Rotisserie Handling Fork.
    Note: To pause the cooking cycle open the door. To stop the cooking cycle press Start/Stop ( ).

Presets
Fries
Best for frozen French fries. If using fresh, hand-cut potatoes, please see the cooking chart (pg. 9).
Wings
Best for natural/raw chicken wings.

Veggies
Best for thicker veggies, such as broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, green beans, and asparagus, rather than leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, and collard greens.
Steak
This preset cooks steak to the medium-light pink middle. Best for steaks 1/2-1 inch thick.
Using The Rotisserie Handling Fork
To Insert The Rotating Mesh Basket Or Rotisserie Spit:

  1.  Place the desired accessory on the Rotisserie Handling Fork.
  2. Insert the left side of the accessory shaft into the Rotisserie Holder. Be sure the shaft is engaged and in place for rotation.
  3. Place the right side of the shaft onto the right Rotisserie Holder. Note: Basket should not be able to freely rotate when it is fully engaged.

To Remove The Rotating Mesh Basket Or Rotisserie Spit:

  1. Insert the Rotisserie Handling Fork beneath the shaft of the accessory.Oster CKSTAFOV3 Super Air Fryer Oven - shaft of the accessory.
  2. Lift the right side of the Rotisserie Handling Fork at an angle to remove it from the right Rotisserie Holder.Oster CKSTAFOV3 Super Air Fryer Oven -Rotisserie Holder.
  3. Then shift the Rotisserie Handling Fork to the right to allow the left side of the shaft to slide out of the left Rotisserie Holder. Oster CKSTAFOV3 Super Air Fryer Oven - slide out

Cleaning and Maintenance For Your Air Fryer Oven

  1.  Clean the Air Fryer Oven and accessories after each use.
  2. Before cleaning your OSTER ®Air Fryer Oven, unplug it and allow it to cool.
  3. To clean the interior of the Air Fryer Oven wipe with a damp cloth using only mild, soapy water. DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER. Abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes, and chemical cleaners will damage the unit.
  4. Empty Drip Tray frequently to avoid the accumulation of crumbs.
  5. Air Flow Racks, Rotating Mesh Basket, Rotisserie Spit, Drip Tray, and Rotisserie Handling forks are dishwasher safe.
  6. The OSTER®Air Fryer Oven door is removable for easy cleaning.
    To Remove Door:
    •Open the door then push the tabs at the inner bottom of the door to release.Oster CKSTAFOV3 Super Air Fryer Oven - Remove Door To Reassemble Door:
    • Keep door at an angle while aligning the bottom of door to the unit then push the door in for it to lock in place.
  7. Oster CKSTAFOV3 Super Air Fryer Oven - unit then pushStore the air fryer in a dry location such as on a table or countertop or cabinet shelf.
    This appliance has no user-serviceable parts. Any servicing beyond that described in the Cleaning Section should be performed by an Authorized Service Representative only. See Warranty Section.

HELPFUL TIPS /TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Potential Cause Solution
Overcooked / Undercooked Foods
  • Unit is unplugged.
  • Incorrect temperature or time setting
You may have to adjust the time and temperature to desired taste.
Because your Air Fryer Oven is smaller than your regular oven, it will heat up faster and generally cook in shorter periods of time.
  • Rack placement
Refer to Positioning Air Flow Racks” Section. Rack may need to be adjusted to accommodate food type.
Burnt Smell
  • First Use
It is recommended to heat Air Fryer Oven to 400° for approximately 15 minutes to

eliminate any manufacturing residue that may remain after shipping.

  • Food build-up inside the oven, on heating elements or in climb tray.
Refer to the “Cleaning Your Air Fryer Oven” Section.
Oven does not tum ON
  • Unit is unplugged
Plug the Air Fryer Oven into an electrical outlet.
Heating elements do not stay ON
  • Heating elements will cycle ON and OFF to maintain proper heat.
  • You may not see elements glowing.
Allow the oven to reach set temperature prior to inserting food. The oven will indicate when to preheat is complete.
Touch panel interface is non-responsive
  • Panel is dirty or greasy
  • Excess moisture on the pane
  • Controller is malfunctioning
Ensure the panel is clean and free of debris before using.

Ensure the panel is clean and dry, and use dry hands to operate.

Unplug unit and let it rest for 60 seconds before plugging in.
