How to clean your Razer Mouse Mat

Our mats require minimum maintenance to keep them in optimum condition. However, if you notice any visible dirt buildup, or just want to keep your mats sanitized, we recommend cleaning them with a lint-free microfiber cloth soaked lightly in an alcohol based-solution (at least 70% isopropyl alcohol) and wipe your mat in circular motions. If you are using a Razer Chroma-powered mat, make sure to unplug the mat from your system first.

For Soft Mats:

  • Do not use soap or harsh cleaning agents.
  • Do not place your mouse mat in the washing machine or clean it under running water.
  • Do not fold, roll, or compress the mouse mat.

For Hard Mats:

  • Clean the surface periodically by dampening a cloth with warm tap water and wiping gently.
  • Use only a clean, soft, lint-free cloth, such as a microfiber cloth, as this produce the least amount of friction.
  • Avoid using abrasive sponges or towels as this may damage the mat’s surface.
  • On your mouse, clean its mouse feet thoroughly from time to time for the best possible glide.

How to clean your Razer Blade laptop

To properly clean your Razer Blade laptops, follow the steps below:

  1. Ensure that your Blade is shut down and unplugged from your power adapter. Disconnect all external devices such as mice, keyboards, or monitors.
  2. Take a lint-free microfiber cleaning cloth and gently wet it with an alcohol-based cleaning solution (at least 70% isopropyl alcohol) but do not let it soak. Use this to wipe the surface of your laptop gently but thoroughly.
  3. Be careful and avoid letting excessive moisture near your laptop’s openings. This includes USB ports, speakers, air vents, key switches, and so on. If you wish to clean under the keycaps, we suggest holding the unit upside down or use compressed air to blow off dust. Do not remove the keycaps from your Blade.
  4. For your screen, we recommend using only cleaning solution made specifically for monitors.

Note: Under no circumstances should you submerge your Blade in any type of liquid. Submerging your Blade in any liquid will void its warranty.

  2. Take a lint-free microfiber cleaning cloth and lightly wet it with an alcohol-based cleaning solution (at least 70% isopropyl alcohol). Ensure that the surface is free of visible dust particles or debris before wiping the surface with any product. Wiping debris into the surface can lead to minor scratches.
  3. Keep the moisture away from your device’s openings, particularly under the keycaps.
  4. You can remove the keycaps if your Razer keyboard has removable keycaps. If not, we recommend turning the keyboard upside down and using compressed air to blow off any accumulated dust or debris.

Note: Under no circumstances should you submerge your keyboard in any type of liquid.

How to clean your Razer Phone

Experts say that on average we touch our mobile devices at least 58 times a day to check notifications, play games, and do a variety of other tasks. Therefore, it is important to keep our phones clean and sanitary to prevent the accumulation of dirt and grime that may over time affect performance and overall experience.

  1. Cleaning your Razer phone should be a relatively quick task. All you need is some lint-free microfiber cleaning cloth and an alcohol-based solution (at least 70% isopropyl alcohol).
  2. Unplug all your cables and turn your device off.
  3. Slightly wet your cleaning cloth but do not let it soak. We recommend using alcohol for disinfection and because it evaporates quickly. Remember to apply alcohol to the cloth and not directly to your phone.
  4. Gently wipe the surface of your phone with the cloth. Make sure there are no big, solid particles on the surface of your device before doing so. Visible dirt could act as grit that may scratch the surface of your device.
  5. Be careful to not let moisture enter the phone’s openings such as the charging ports and speakers.
