Will my controller work with Sony PS5?

Is the Razer Raiju Ultimate supported by Razer Chroma? How do I control the Chroma lighting?

Yes, the Raiju Ultimate is supported by Chroma. Please down the Mobile App “Raiju” from the App Store and use this App to control the lighting. You can also control the chroma lighting using the lighting button to cycle between lighting effects, and lighting button + D-pad left, right to change the lighting effect, and lighting button +d-pad up/down to increase/decrease brightness.

How many profiles can I save on the Razer Raiju Ultimate?

The Raiju Ultimate on-board memory can store up to 4 profiles and an additional 500 profiles on the Raiju Mobile App.

Can I clean the Razer Raiju Ultimate with alcohol-based solutions or other solvents?

You should not clean the Razer Raiju Ultimate with alcohol-based solutions or other solvents. Doing so may tarnish the exterior surface of the controller.

Can I use my Razer Raiju Ultimate on the PC?

Your Razer Raiju Ultimate controller is fully compatible with any computer running Windows 7 and above.

Can I use my Razer Raiju Ultimate on Steam as a PS4 controller?

Yes, the Razer Raiju Ultimate controller is recognized as a PS4 controller by default on Steam. You just have to enable “PS4 configuration support” under Steam settings to use the Razer Raiju Ultimate controller on Steam.

How many Razer Raiju Ultimate can I connect with my PS4?

You can connect up to 4 Raiju controllers with the PS4.

Where can I find the latest PC driver for my Razer Raiju Ultimate so I can play Non-Steam games?

The Razer Raiju features plug and play support when playing games on Steam.

My Raiju Ultimate is not working properly. What is the latest firmware available for my controller?

We have a firmware updater available that might fix that issue for you! You will be required to download it to a Windows PC before you can use it to update your Razer Raiju Ultimate controller. Please see the table below as a reference for the latest versions and download the firmware for your unit.

How do I clean my Razer controller?

We cannot say with certainty what type of dirt and debris may be on your product, or how certain cleaning products may react with it, but we have had good luck cleaning Razer products using commonly available monitor cleaning wipes.

To clean the body of your Razer controller please take a monitor wipe and use gentle wiping motions. Do not scrub the surface of your Razer controller.

Troubleshooting

The Razer controller does not work on PS5 games?

The Razer controllers will work with supported PlayStation 4 games on PlayStation 5,
however it will not be compatible with PS5 titles as confirmed by Sony. Please check out PlayStation 5: Answering your questions on compatible PS4 peripherals & accessories.

There is no audio when my headset is connected to the 3.5mm audio jack on the Razer Raiju Ultimate. What should I do?

Please follow the steps outlined below to help resolve the issue:

Audio streaming through the Raiju controller only works when the controller is in wired mode and connected to the PS4/PC through USB. Ensure that you are connected to the PS4/PC through the included micro-USB cable.
If you’re connected to the PS4, hold the PS button to go to Quick Menu, and ensure that the volume control for headphones is not muted, and output to Headphones is set correctly.

The Chroma LED on my Razer Product appears to have a different color than the LED on other Razer Products, even though the Synapse setting is the same. What should I do?

Slight variations of color can be expected in each individual LED, but most differences should be minimal.

Razer cannot guarantee that all LEDs will appear as the exact same color, even if the Synapse setting are the same. You may see some slight variations from one product to another. Should a customer have an individual LED that varies in color greatly, it could be a defective LED. You may want to ask the customer if they can get a photo that shows the differences.

My Razer Raiju Ultimate lags when it’s connected to the mobile app. What should I do?

When not configuring the controller, you are advised to close the Raiju app on your mobile device.

How do I remove a paired Razer Raiju Ultimate from the Raiju app?

You can simply cancel the reconnection to the controller in the Raiju app, and Add New Controller to connect the Raiju app to another controller. Alternatively, when connected to the controller from the Raiju app, tap on the app menu and select the Switch Controller.

I cannot see the Raiju Ultimate controller in the list of devices on the PS4 when I’m trying to pair.

To solve this issue, ensure that your Razer Raiju controller is in PS4 BT Pairing Mode. You can also restart your PS4 and try pairing again.

How do I pair the Raiju Ultimate with the PS4 if I do not have another controller?

Before pairing the Raiju Ultimate in wireless mode, you will need another device to navigate the PS4 menu. You can use one of the following:

A mobile device with a Sony PS4 app installed and paired with the PS4
A TV remote with HDMI-CEC enabled
A PS4-compatible keyboard and/or mouse

If you do not have any of the above, you can still use the Razer Raiju Ultimate controller in USB mode.

How many multi-function buttons does the Razer Raiju Ultimate controller have?

The Raiju Ultimate has two (2) rear multi-function buttons and two (2) multi-function bumpers.

How can I disable/remove the multi-function buttons M1/M2/M3/M4 on the Razer Raiju Ultimate?

You can unassign the button mappings of the multi-function buttons using the Raiju app. After connecting to the Raiju app, simply choose the multi-function button you wish to disable and select “Unassign” in the remapping menu.

How many D-Pad button layouts does the Razer Raiju Ultimate have?

The Razer Raiju Ultimate comes with two D-pad button layouts. A tilting and individual D-pad.

How do I change the interchangeable D-pads and thumbsticks of the Razer Raiju Ultimate?

The interchangeable D-pad and thumbsticks are attached via magnets and can simply be changed by pulling them up.

How many thumbsticks does the Razer Raiju Ultimate have?

What does the Razer Raiju Ultimate’s Hair-Trigger Mode mean?

The Hair-Trigger mode reduces the travel distance of the two main triggers, enabling quick-firing action to deliver a competitive edge. With reduced trigger depth activation, in-game weapon fire or trigger action is executed significantly faster.

What are Mecha-Tactile action buttons on the Razer Raiju Ultimate?

Razer Mecha-Tactile action buttons provide a unique combination of soft cushioned touch with crisp tactile feedback.

Does the Razer Raiju Ultimate controller have an audio input/output port?

Yes, it has a 3.5mm audio port for stereo output and microphone input.

How do I change the connectivity mode on the Razer Raiju Ultimate?

The mode switch is located at the center of the Raiju’s bottom side.

How do I enable Hair Trigger mode on the Razer Raiju Ultimate?

You can find the Hair-trigger mode switch on the bottom side of the Raiju between the two main triggers.

Can I use a universal micro USB cable / charger to charge the Razer Raiju Ultimate?

The Raiju Ultimate controller requires a customized Razer micro-USB cable for a secure connection and a good fit. Razer does not take responsibility for any damage that occurs as a result of using an incompatible micro-USB cable.

How do I know the Razer Raiju Ultimate is charging?

When the controller is turned off and switched to Bluetooth mode, the status LED of the controller will be lit red when the controller is charging. When the controller is fully charged, the LED will turn off.

How long does it take to fully charge the Razer Raiju Ultimate?

The Raiju Ultimate takes about 4 hours to be fully charged. In Bluetooth mode when the controller is powered off, the status LED will light up red when the controller is charging and go off when it is fully charged.

Software

Do I need the Raiju Mobile app in order to use the Razer Raiju Ultimate controller?

You can plug and play the Raiju Ultimate controller on a PS4 or PC with the default settings. The Raiju app is only used to configure the controller’s button mappings and vibration settings if you want to change it from the defaults.

Will the mobile App for the Razer Raiju Ultimate and Tournament Edition work with the original Raiju?

No, the Razer Raiju mobile APP will only work with the Raiju Tournament Edition and the Raiju Ultimate.

Can I record macros on the Razer Raiju Ultimate?

While you can remap any of the 16 buttons on the controller to the multi-function buttons, recording macros is not allowed on Razer Raiju Ultimate as it is designed specifically for tournament usage and complies with all tournament rules and regulations.

When pairing the controller to the PS4, I get an error message saying that the passkey might not be correct. What should I do?

On rare occasions, you may get an error message like this. When this happens, restart the controller pairing process with your PS4.

The Raiju app flickers when I change the language or font size from phone settings. What should I do?

Restarting the mobile app should solve the issue.

What version of iOS and Android does the Raiju App support?

The App for the Raiju Ultimate and Raiju TE support

I have installed the Xinput drivers from Razer Website, how do I restore PS4 controller support on Steam?

Please do the following:

Open “Device Manager”.
Find “Razer Raiju Ultimate Ultimate/Razer Raiju Ultimate Tournament Edition” under “Human Interface Devices”.
Right-click and select “Update Driver”.
Select “Browse my computer for driver software”.
Select “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”.
Choose “HID-compliant game controller” and click “Next”.
After the driver is updated, close the window and click “Yes” to restart your computer

Does the lighting on the Razer Raiju Ultimate effect sync up with my other Razer Chroma-enabled PC peripherals?

No, the Chroma on Raiju Ultimate is designed especially for optimal console user experience. Therefore, it does not sync up with other Razer Chroma-enabled PC peripherals.

Is the Razer Raiju Ultimate Bluetooth 5 compatible?

Yes, the controller is compatible with Bluetooth 5 host devices.

The Razer Raiju app is not displaying the right language set by my phone.

If your Raiju app is not displaying the right language set by your phone, ensure that the correct language is chosen on your phone settings, and restart your phone.

There is truncated text on the Razer Raiju app.

Perform the following steps to help resolve the issue:

The Raiju app has font size control to ensure that text appears correctly on the app. In certain cases, however, phones may override the font size control.
If font size on your phone is set too large for the Raiju app, they may appear truncated. We recommend that you reduce the font size on your phone such that text is not truncated on the Raiju app.

The Razer Raiju app prompts me to enable Bluetooth when Bluetooth is already on. What should I do?
