Broken Sway Bar Link Diagnosis
Today I want to show you some sway bars link noise when they go bad or they get loose hopefully this video will help you.
Diagnose what you have going on in your car and you can match up the noise and see if that’s the problem you’re having swimmer links are usually on any passenger car vehicle.
They are part of the suspensions in the front in the rear.
They link the suspension to the car body
When they work they keep the vehicle stable on the road at all speeds high.
Low driving straight especially around corners and especially when hitting bumps.
So they’re vital that car’s system.
You don’t want to go without / you don’t
You don’t want to be loose or need repairs there’s a little rod with a link on each end or a bushing on each end
There’s a couple different styles.
They’re very similar there’ll be a bar.
That goes from side to side to each wheel in the back and then side-to-side.
Meat wheel in the front and then there’ll be a bushing that holds the bar to the bottom.
Hear the noise
They make a noise that’s ten times louder than what they should be for those little links and bushings.
It’s a thumping rattling clunking annoying noise.
So, if you got a bad link
You’ll probably know it.
I initially heard mine making noise by going over the little small curb.
Going into my garage…
It would go humph.
you know what I went either out of the garage and then I progressed to what you’re hearing now and that this is my super all back edge and there’s a bad leg great net right beers.
ou definitely want to repair them.
If they all of a sudden go silent typically that means the link is broken.
So that doesn’t mean your system magically fixed itself.
That means this wave our link is broken.
Now your vehicle’s gonna have instability issues.
I’ve even seen a broken sway bar once.
The link broke the sway bar swing down
Get the tire puncture.
The tires definitely a major factor in safety.
You don’t want to mess around with them
It’s not something that you need to get towed to the shop to fix if you have a ratalie sway bar link.
so you want to diagnose it as quickly as possible
Then you can plan the repair in the next week or two and that that should be sufficient.
The good news is is the the parts are relatively cheap.
As far as suspension Repairs, it’s one of the cheapest repairs you’ll probably ever have and the bushings are also cheap.
All that stuff’s readily available
So, you should be able to grab it at art stores just about anywhere depending on your vehicle.
Your model to me they’re actually easy to repair as long as you don’t have any rust issues the links are actually quite.
Easy to get on and off and so are the bushings you do have rusty parts that will be your bottleneck is getting them off usually got to cut them off usually.
Can take care of that with a hacksaw or saws own once you get them apart they usually go together in minutes.
Here’s a face covered parking.
So I hope that helped you identify the noise in your car and diagnose your car.
