For the first time use, or after a long absence of use, it is recommended that you fill the kettle to the maximum mark with fresh tap water, boil the kettle and then empty it of
the water. Repeat these steps at least two times to clear the kettle of any dust. Do not drink the discarded water.

  1. Pull up the lid handle and the lid will open. Remove the kettle from the base and take it to the tap. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water, ensuring that it is no lower than the minimum
amount and no higher than the maximum level. Put the lid back and place the kettle back onto the base unit.
  2. Connect the plug to a power outlet and the LED display should light up. Press the LED display once to put the kettle into heating mode. If you press the
LED display again, it will go into keep warm mode. A third press of the LED will turn the kettle off. The LED display will go blank.

Usage Modes

  • Heating Water Mode: The water will heat up to the set temperature. The display will show the temperature of the water. The default temperature is 100°C.
  • Keep Warm Mode: The kettle will keep the water at the desired temperature. The kettle can bet set to temperatures between 50°C – 95°C, with the default Keep Warm temperature of 70°C. Once the water drops below the set temperature, the kettle will switch on and keep warming the water until it has reached the desired temperature again. The Keep Warm mode will switch off after 2 hours.

To change the temperature settings, press the + or – buttons, and the newly selected temperature will be displayed on the LED screen. Each press of the buttons will change
the temperature setting by 5°C.

  • To prolong the life of the kettle, please clean the mineral deposits from the kettle regularly.
  • Always unplug the kettle from the power socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning it.
  • Do not use chemicals, steel wool or other abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle, as these will scratch the surface and cause the outside colour to fade.

To clean the kettle:

  1. Fill the kettle with 500ml of white vinegar and then fill to the top with water. Allow to stand for at least 1 hour.
  2.  Empty the kettle. Wipe off any remaining deposits with a damp cloth.
  3. Fill the kettle with fresh water. Bring to the boil, then discard the water. Repeat this step once more, then the kettle will be ready to use.
  4. If necessary, the previous steps can be repeated several times.
  5. The outside surface of the kettle can be wiped over with a damp cloth, then polished with a dry cloth.
  6. Grasp the top of the scale filter and pull it upwards to remove. Wash with clean water, then dry thoroughly before replacing it in the kettle.
