  5. As soon as your device reacts by turning off (TV) Pausing (Streaming box) or Muting (Audio device), release the key.
  6. The LED will blink twice in green and the remote should now operate your device.
  • If you find one or more keys do not work as you expect, start again at step 2 – the remote
will start with the next code in the memory.

B – SETUP BY CODE

If the brand of your device is not listed in the simplest feature, you can set it up by trying codes individually. To do this firstly locate your brand in the Code List. Brands a listed by device type; TV, Streamer, or Audio (Receiver or Soundbar).

Each code consists of 5 digits, which can be entered by using the following keys to represent the digits 1-6:

  1. Turn on your device (not on standby) and point the OFA remote towards it.
  2. To set up:
2a TV Hold down TV POWER and BACK keys at the same time until the yellow LED under the ring blinks twice.
2b STREAMER / DIGITAL MEDIA BOX Hold down STREAMER POWER and HOME at the same time until the red LED under the ring blinks twice
2c AUDIO RECEIVER, SOUNDBAR Hold down VOLUME + and VOLUME – at the same time until the Green LED under the ring blinks twice.
  3. Enter the first 5 digit code listed for your brand (e.g. 11565 for Zenith TV).
  4. The green LED will blink twice.
  5. Now aim the remote towards your device and press the Power (or Mute*) key.
  6. If the device turns off (or mutes*), your remote is ready to use. If not, repeat steps 2-5 with the next code in the list.
  • If you are setting up an Audio Video Receiver or Sound Bar, please try the Mute key during step 5.

After SimpleSet or Code Setup
Your One For All remote can operate on up to three devices. Most keys will control your streaming box, but you can control some functions of your TV and Sound Bar or Audio Video Receiver If you set up a TV, the Volume Up, Down, Mute, TV Power, and TV Input keys will then control your TV. The menu ring will light up in yellow to show you are controlling the TV.
If you then also set up an Audio Device such as a Sound Bar or Audio Video Receiver, the remote will then control the Volume Up, Down, and Mute of that device. The menu ring will light up in green to show you are controlling the Audio Device.
Input Shaft
As the TV Input key is intended to select the input on your TV and most TVs use a menu to select from a list of inputs, when the TV Input key is pressed and a TV is set up, the Menu Up, Down, Left, Right and OK keys temporarily control the TV. If the OK key is pressed, or no key is pressed for ten seconds, these keys will revert to controlling your streamer.

C – LEARNING

Your One For All remote control can learn any function from any other working remote control. This is a quick and easy one-time setup that allows controlling any infrared-controlled device you have in your living room. You can even combine multiple devices in one easy-to-use remote control – for example, you could teach the volume keys to control your Sound Bar, the TV Power and Input keys to control your TV, and the rest of the keys to controlling a Streaming box.
Or you could teach the Channel Up and Down keys to control your TV.
To do this, firstly make sure you have all your original remote controls to hand, and that they

  1. Hold down TV Power and Mute until the red LED blinks twice.
  2. Press and release the key you want to learn a function onto (for example the Channel Up key) – The red LED will blink once and go out.
  3. Press and release* the corresponding key on the original remote, for example, Channel Up.
  4. The LED will blink green twice to indicate the key has been learned correctly.
  5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each key you want to learn – remember you can learn from multiple remotes, but only one function per key.
  6. When you learned all the functions you require, press and hold the TV Power key until the green LED blinks four times.

Hints:

  • If the red LED shows one long blink at step 4, the function was not learned correctly, please try again from step 2.
  • If you find one or more keys don’t work properly after set up, you can re-enter the learning mode at any time by repeating the procedure from step 1.
  • To delete a learned function, hold down Streamer Power and Mute until the red LED blinks twice, and press the key to delete twice.
  • TV If one or more of your original remotes aren’t working, you can still set up the One For All remote by SimpleSet (B) or Code Set-Up (C).
  • After Learning, the default color of the Menu Ring LED is red. If you would like to change this, see “Choose Color”.*

*Some remotes send commands differently. If you find a function that cannot be learned, try holding down the key on the original remote instead of pressing and releasing it.

D – SETTING UP A ROKU TV

If you want to set up the remote to control a TCL Roku TV (this may also work for some models of RCA and Hisense)

  1. Hold down STB POWER and HOME at the same time until the red LED blinks twice
  2. Press the BACK key 5 times
  3. The LED will blink green twice and the remote should now work on your Roku TV.

To set up a Hisense, RCA, Sharp, or Sanyo Roku TV:

  1. Hold down STB POWER and HOME at the same time until the red LED blinks twice
  2. Press the HOME key 5 times
  3. The LED will blink green twice and the remote should now work on your Roku TV.

To set up an Insignia Roku TV

  1. Hold down STB POWER and HOME at the same time until the red LED blinks twice
  2. Press the REPLAY key 5 times
  3. The LED will blink green twice and the remote should now work on your Roku TV.

MULTI-COLORED RING

The ring around the menu directional keys lights up in a number of different colors. During programming, the colors will guide you through the setup process, and after you have set up your devices they will indicate which device you are controlling.
When controlling the TV, the ring will light up yellow, and when controlling a Soundbar or Audio/ Video Receiver it will be green. The color for the Streamer can change depending on the setup method and the brand of your streaming device. The One For All remote is pre-programmed for a Roku streaming box so the default color is purple, and if you follow the SimpleSet procedure to set up another brand (see simplest), it will change to a color associated with the brand you chose, for example, dark green for a Microsoft Xbox.
If you set up using a code (see Code Setup), the color for your streamer will be red. You can even choose a color yourself – see the section Choose Color.

CHOOSE COLOR

Once you have set up your devices, the color of the menu ring reflects the devices you are controlling. For TV functions, the ring is yellow, for Audio green, and for your streaming device it can be read, or a brand color if you used the SimpleSet method.
However if you’d prefer to choose your own color to represent streamer control, you can. There are dozens of shades to choose from, and the procedure is simple.
To perform this:

  1. Hold down Channel Up and Channel Down until the ring blinks twice red
  2. Press the Channel Up key. The ring will light up white and stay lit
  3. Now each press of the Channel Up key will change the ring to a different color. Pressing Channel Down will take it back to the previous color. There are over 100 different shades to choose from.
  4. Once you have found the color you like, press and hold down the OK key.
The ring will blink twice in the current color. From now on, when you are controlling your Streaming box the ring will light up in the color you have chosen.
  • If you reach the last color, the ring will blink red twice and the color will not be stored.
  • If you do not press a key for 10 seconds, the light will go out and no color will be stored
  • If you want to change the color at any point, just repeat the process.

APP SHORTCUT FEATURE

The Streaming Remote features 4 App Shortcut keys for viewing streamed content. If your original remote control already had a key for this – for example, many Roku streamers will have a Netflix and Amazon key – then this key will perform exactly the same as the key on your original remote.

If your streamer supports these keys, they will function as Netflix, Amazon Video,
Hulu, and YouTube.
However, if you did not have a key like this, you can use this key as a shortcut to a streaming app
by programming a macro on it. You can set a macro to any service supported by an app on your streaming device. So if you would prefer HBO Now or Plex, no problem.
To program the macro, you first need to know the sequence of keys you need to press to always bring up the service you prefer, For example on an Apple TV, the sequence for Netflix is Back (or Home), Menu Down, and OK.

APP SHORTCUT FEATURE

Once you have determined the sequence for your device, follow these steps:

  1. Sit in front of your device with It switched on (not on standby)
  2. Hold down the App Shortcut key (for example the “N” key) until the LED blinks twice
  3. Now perform the sequence of keys exactly as you would normally. The remote will operate your device and the macro is recorded in real-time – so if it normally takes a few seconds for your device to react don’t worry.
  4. Once you have finished the sequence – and the Streaming Service has started on your device
    – hold down the App Shortcut key until the LED blinks green twice and go out. The macro is now stored.

Tips

  • Make sure the Streamer Is operating the device in question before programming
  • If you find the Macro doesn’t work as expected, you can just repeat the same sequence to reprogram
  • When programming, wait for your device to respond first, the remote will remember the timing

MORE FUNCTIONS ONLINE

Although all the major features of your One For All remote are covered in this guide, there is even more functionality available online. For example, you could set the remote into a “CEC Mode” that may control streamers that cannot be controlled by infrared, or potentially reprogram the input key to always select the same input on your TV. As the AV key is intended to select the input on your TV and most TVs use a menu to select from a list of inputs, when the AV key is pressed in Watch TV Mode, the Menu Up, Down, Left, Right and OK keys temporarily control the TV. If the OK key is pressed, or no key is pressed for ten seconds, these keys will revert to controlling the STB.
If you hold down the Power key for 2 seconds in Watch TV Mode, the remote will send the Power function for TV and STB.

THE NETTV FEATURE

The Evolve features a “NETTV” key for viewing digital TV, streamed over the internet. If your original remote control already had a key for this – for example, many newer TVs have a Netflix key – then this key will perform exactly the same as the key on your original remote. However, if you did not have a key like this, but still had the ability to watch a streaming service, you can use this key as a shortcut by programming a macro on it. Most AV devices that are connected to the internet, such as Smart TVs or streaming
Set-Top Boxes to have one or more applications they can run to access TV viewing via the internet. Examples of these would be Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, or similar.
To program the macro, you first need to know the device you use to access the service, and then the sequence of keys you need to press to always bring up the service you prefer, For example, some Panasonic TVs will start Netflix by pressing the Apps key, then Menu Down Twice, and finally the OK key. Or on an Apple TV, the sequence is Menu, Menu Down, and OK.
Once you have determined the sequence for your device, follow these steps:

  1. Sit in front of your device with It switched on (not on standby)
  2. Hold down the NETTV key until the LED blinks twice and stays lit
  3. Use the MODE key to select the device you want to use for the NETTV macro (e.g. TV)
  4. Now perform the sequence of keys exactly as would normally. The remote will operate your device and the macro is recorded in real-time – so if it normally takes a few seconds for your device to react don’t worry.
  5. Once you have finished the sequence – and the Streaming Service has started on your device – hold down the NETTV key until the LED blinks twice and goes out. The macro is now stored.
Tips
  • Make sure the Evolve Is operating the device in question before programming If you find the Macro doesn’t work as expected, you can just repeat the same sequence to reprogram

  5. Now, aim the ONE FOR ALL at your device and press POWER. If your device switches off, the ONE FOR ALL REMOTE is ready to operate your device. If it does not switch off your device simply try the next code listed for your brand.

If none of the codes listed for your brand work please try the Code Search. The Code Search may also work if your brand is not listed at all.
To set up the code for another device follow the instructions above only press the appropriate device key instead of TV during step 2.

Code Search

The Search Method allows you to find the code for your device by scanning through all the codes contained in the memory of the ONE FOR ALL. The Search Method may also work if your brand is not listed at all.

  1. Switch on your television (not on standby).
  2. Select the device key (e.g. TV key) corresponding to the device you wish to control (e.g. television).
  3. Press and hold down the SETUP key until the red LED underneath the POWER key blinks twice (the red LED will blink once then twice).
  4. Press 9 9 1. The red LED will blink twice.
  5. Next, press POWER.
  6. Aim the ONE FOR ALL at your Television. Now press CH+ over and over, until your Television turns off (everytime you press the CH+ key the ONE FOR ALL will send out a POWER signal from the next code contained in the memory). You may have to press this key many times (up to 150 times) so please be patient.
  7. As soon as your television turns off, press the SETUP key to store the code.

Learning (copy)

Your One For All remote control can learn any function from any other working remote control. To do this, firstly make sure you have all your original remote controls to hand, and that they have working batteries in. To learn functions, the original remote should be approximately 3cm from the OFA remote, pointing towards it as shown below:

  1. Select the corresponding device e.g. TV
  2. Press and hold down the SETUP key until the red LED underneath the POWER key blinks twice (the red LED will blink once then twice).
  3. Press 9 7 5
  4. Press and release the key you want to learn a function onto (for example the TV Power key) The red LED will blink continuously.
  5. Press and release the corresponding key on the original remote, for example Power.
  6. The red LED will blink twice to indicate the key has been learned correctly.
  7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each key you want to learn remember you can learn from multiple remotes, but only one function per key.
  8. When you learned all the functions you require, press and hold the SETUP key until the red LED blinks twice.
  • If the red LED shows one long blink at step 6, the function was not learned correctly, please try again from step 4.
  • If you find one or more keys don’t work properly after set up, you can re-enter the learning mode at any time by repeating the procedure from step 1.
How to delete a learned function to obtain the original function?
  1. Select the corresponding device mode (e.g. TV).
  2. Press and hold down the SETUP key until the red LED underneath the POWER key blinks twice (the red LED will blink once then twice).
  3. Press 9 7 6.
  4. Press the key to be deleted (e.g. red key) twice.

Volume Lock

This feature gives you the possibility to set the Volume (VOL+, VOL- and Mute) to always control a certain device (e.g. tv) independent of which device mode key (TV, SAT, DVD or AMP) is selected.

In this example we will set Volume Control (VOL+, VOL- and Mute) to “tv volume”:

  1. Press and hold down the SETUP key until the red LED underneath the POWER key blinks twice (the red LED will blink once then twice).
  2. Press 9 9 3.

How to deactivate Volume Control
  1. Select the device key you wish to deactivate from Volume Control (e.g. AMP).
  2. Press and hold down the SETUP key until the red LED underneath the POWER key blinks twice (the red LED will blink once then twice).

FOR ALL
URC7115
SIMPLE SET UP GUIDE

KEY TABLE

HOW TO SET UP YOUR REMOTE

A – SIMPLE SET

simplest is a quick and easy way of setting up the remote to control the most popular brands of each device type with only a few key presses, typically in under a minute per device.
For each Device type, there is a list of the top brands, each with a number assigned to it, for example, 6 for a Samsung TV. Locate your device and brand in the list that follows:

TV

1 Bush
2 Grundig
3 LG
4 Panasonic
5 Philips
6 Samsung
7 Sharp
8 Sony
9 TCL / Thomson
0 Toshiba

To set up your device

  1. Turn on your device (not on standby) and point the OFA remote towards it.
  2. Hold down MAGIC until the LED blinks twice.
  3. Hold down the digit for your brand and device as listed above (e.g. 6 for Samsung TV).
  4. The remote will send Power every 3 seconds until your device switches off.
  5. As soon as your device switches off, release the digit.
  6. The LED will blink twice and go out. The remote should now operate your device.
  • If you find one or more keys do not work as you expect, start again at step 1 – the remote will start with the next code in the memory.

HOW TO SET UP YOUR REMOTE

B – SET UP BY CODE
If your brand is not listed in section A, you can set up your device by trying codes individually.
To do this:

  1. Turn your device on (not on standby).
  2. Locate the brand of your device in the code list (pages 74-77). Codes are listed by Device Type.
  3. Hold down MAGIC until the LED blinks twice.
  4. Enter the first 4 digit code listed for your brand (e.g. 4542 for an Aiwa TV).
  5. The LED will blink twice and go out.
  6. Now aim the remote towards your device and press the POWER key.
  7. If the device turns off, your remote is ready to use. If not, repeat steps 3-6 with the next code in the list.
  • Some codes are quite similar. If you find that one or more keys do not operate as you expect, try again from step 3 with the next code in the list.

LEARNING

Your One For All remote control can learn any function from any other working remote control.
This can be useful if you are missing one or more functions from your original remote control and would like to add them to the ONE FOR ALL.
You can also learn a complete device if you can’t find a code.
To learn, firstly make sure you have all your original remote controls to hand, and that they have working batteries in. To learn functions, the original remote should be approximately 3cm from the OFA remote, pointing towards it as shown below:

  1. Hold down MAGIC until the LED blinks twice.
  2. Press 975 – the LED will blink twice.
  3. Press and release the key you want to learn a function onto (for example the HOME key) – The red LED will blink continuously.
  4. Press and release the key on the original remote.
  5. The LED will blink twice to indicate the key has been learned correctly.
  6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each key you want to learn – remember you can learn from multiple remotes, but only one function per key.
  7. When you learned all the functions you require, press and hold the MAGIC key until the LED blinks twice and turns off.

HINTS

  • If the LED shows one long blink at step 5, the function was not learned correctly, please try again from step 3.
  • If you find one or more keys don’t work properly after set up, you can re-enter the learning mode at any time by repeating the procedure from step 1.

TO DELETE A LEARNED FUNCTION, THE PROCEDURE IS:

  1. Hold down MAGIC until the LED blinks twice.
  2. Press 976 – the LED will blink twice
  3. Press the key to delete twice – the LED will blink twice.

Repeat the above procedure for each key you want to delete.

THE NETTV FEATURE

The Evolve features a “NETTV” key for viewing digital TV, streamed over the internet. If your original remote control already had a key for this – for example, many newer TVs have a Netflix key – then this key will perform exactly the same as the key on your original
remote. However, if you did not have a key like this, but still had the ability to watch a streaming service, you can use this key as a  shortcut by programming a macro on it. Most AV devices that are connected to the internet, such as Smart TVs or streaming  Set-Top Boxes have one or more applications they can run to access TV viewing via the internet.

THE NETTV FEATURE

Examples of these would be Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, or similar.
To program the macro, you first need to know the device you use to access the service, and then the sequence of keys you need to press to always bring up the service you prefer, For example, some Panasonic TVs will start Netflix by pressing the Apps key, then  Menu Down Twice, and finally the OK key.

Once you have determined the sequence for your device, follow these steps:

  1. Sit in front of your device with It switched on (not on standby)
  2. Hold down the NETTV key until the LED blinks twice and stays lit
  3. Now perform the sequence of keys exactly as would normally. The remote will operate your device and the macro is recorded in real-time – so if it normally takes a few seconds for your device to react don’t worry.
  4. Once you have finished the sequence – and the Streaming Service has started on your device -hold down the NETTV key until the LED blinks twice and goes out. The macro is now stored.

Tips

  • Make sure the Evolve Is operating the device in question before programming
  • f you find the Macro doesn’t work as expected, you can just repeat the same sequence to reprogram
  • When programming, wait for your device to respond first, the remote will remember the timing

FIRST connect the USB cable to the power adapter. Alternatively you can plug the USB cable in one of your USB ports on the side or back of your TV (if available).
OR

2
Then connect the coaxial cable attached to the ANTENNA IN connector at the back w the TV or set-top box.

3 Decide how you would like to position the antenna:
WALL MOUNTED or FLAT.
Decide how you would like to position the antenna: FLAT or WALL MOUNTED. When mounting to a wall, you will have to drill 2 holes in your wall whereas the distance between the center of the holes should be 140 mm. Put the plugs in the holes and put the screws in the plugs.

We do suggest you to FIRST finalize this set up before drilling holes, since you might need to re-position the antenna for best reception.

Position the antenna as high as possible and move close to or in a window and facing the directions of the TV towers for best reception. A / B or C. If you are not sure in which direction your TV towers are, please check www.channelchecker.com and it will tell you in 3 simple steps.

IMPORTANT!

For detailed instructions on how to perform a channel scan, please see the manual provided with your TV.

In order to improve the reception performance you might look for a different position of the antenna by moving closer to or in a window and facing the direction of the TV towers.

You can also rotate the antenna while lying flat or standing for finetuning in order to improve reception even more.

FIRST, connect the micro USB connector to the Power Inserter. THEN connect the included power adapter into any standard 120V wall outlet.

Then connect the coaxial cable attached to the ANTENNA IN connector at the back of the TV or set-top box.

This antenna has a unique Signal Level Indicator, which clearly shows the current strength of incoming TV signals. The more LEDs lighting up, the stronger the signal. PLEASE NOTE: You may live in a weak signal area where the incoming signals are not at full strength so not every LED will light up, however it may still be suff client to receive channels in good quality.

Decide how you would like to position the antenna:

STANDING UPRIGHT, WALL MOUNTED, or FLAT.

When you choose for STANDING UP, please use the included 2 stands and insert them into the 2 slots on the bottom of the rear of the antenna. When mounting to an interior wall, you have to drill 2 holes in your wall whereas the distance between the center of the holes should be 178 mm (7 inches). Put the plugs in the holes and put the screws in the plugs. We do suggest you FIRST finalize this setup before drilling holes since you might need to re-position the antenna for the best reception.
Position the antenna as high as possible and move close to or in a window and facing the direction of the TV towers for best reception.

If you are not sure in which direction your TV towers are, please check www.channelchecker.com and it will tell you in 3 simple steps.
In order to improve the reception performance, look for a different position of the antenna by moving closer to or in a window and facing the direction of the TV towers. A / B or C.
You can also rotate the antenna while lying at or standing for fine-tuning in order to improve reception even more.
