Yes, the AU8000 features a LAN port allowing you to hardwire the TV to your network with an ethernet should you choose not to use the built in WiFi capabilities.

Does this BN68 model have a blue light filter setting?
there are a few setting you may want to adjust to tone down the blue light from your TV to reduce eye strain. (1) you may want to set your Picture Mode ‘Movie’ which is suitable for watching TV in a dark room or ‘Natural’ which reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience, (2) you may want to select Warm 1 or Warm 2 in Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Color Tone, and (3) you can lower the B-Gain setting in Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > White Balance.
Can hulu live run through this tv without a game console or roku?
Hulu Live is supported within the Hulu app on the AU8000 TV.
Will this BN68 fit on a 48” cabinet?

Samsung 2021 TVs, including the 50″ AU8000, do not feature a built-in DVD player.

The 43″ AU8000 does not feature the ability to connect a cable card directly to it. The AU8000 features 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB connections, 1 Digital Optical Audio port, 1 LAN port, and 1 RF antenna connection.
will this tv reliably run when i install this on an outside covered lanai in central florida?
The AU8000 is not designed for outdoor use however this greatly depends on your environmental conditions. Be sure to contact an authorized Samsung service center for information if you intend to install your TV in a location with heavy dust, high or low temperatures, high humidity, etc. The operating temperature is between 50˚F to 104˚F. Operating humidity is between 10% – 80%. Storage temperature ranges between -4˚F to 103˚F. Conditions falling outside these ranges may lead to serious damage to your TV.
