IN THE BOX

You can play music from a Bluetooth enabled device.

  1. Press the Bluetooth ON/OFF button for about 3 seconds on the speaker base, you will hear, “pairing” tone and the Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your audio device and search for available Bluetooth connections. Select the “LAVA001” from the list. If you are asked for a pass code enter “0000”.
  3. Once paired the blue LED will stop flashing and you will hear the “connected” message. You can now begin playback from the audio device and the output will playback through the speaker.

Quick Set-Up

AC Power Operation :
  1. Insert the DC plug of the adapter into the DC jack on the back of the unit.
  2. Plug the AC Adapter plug into the main outlet. Connecting this system to any other power source may cause damage to the system.
Bluetooth Operation :
  1. Turn the function control to the BT position, The blue indicator light will begin to flash.
  2. Turn your device’s Bluetooth setting on, and search devices.
  3. Select the Bluetooth pairing name “GOODMANS TURNTABLE “to connect to the record player
  4. Once you are connected the blue indicator light will stop flashing,you can now play music from your device through your record player,use the volume control dial to adjust the volume

Note: After the initial pairing, the record player will stay paired to your device unless it is unpaired manually or the device is reset.

Line in Operation:
  1. Use an audio cable with one 3.5mm stereo plug on each end of the cable.
  2. Plug one end into the line-in jack on the main unit and plug the other end of the cable into the line-out of your external audio device.
  3. Turn on the unit and your external audio device.
  4. To select auxiliary audio input turns the function control to the line-in position.
  5. The volume level can now be controlled through the main unit, Operate all other functions on the auxiliary device as normal.
Line Out
  1. You can listen to your new turntable using the built-in speakers but you may wish to connect it to your existing Hi-Fi system. Connect the audio plugs to the line input on your mixer or amplifier using an RCA cable.
Headphone Out:
  1. Use a wired earphone or headphone (not included) and insert the 3.5mm stereo plug-in phone jack on the turntable.
Playing a Record
  1. Carefully holding the vinyl record by the edges, place the record on the Revive Turntable.
  2. Turn on the power and select Phono mode.
  3. Select the correct speed for the record that you want to play.
  4. Release the tone arm lock.
  5. Carefully raise the tonearm. The turntable will start to rotate.
  6. Place the stylus over the first track of the record.
  7. Put down the stylus slowly onto the record to play.
  8. When a record reaches the end, the turntable will stop automatically if the auto-stop switch is in the ON position.
  9. Lift up to the tonearm and put it on the rest when finished. and replace the tone arm lock.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
Power does not come on when the unit is switched on. Plug the AC adapter into a wall outlet
No sound comes out of the speakers. Adjust the volume.
Re-select the desired input source using the mode button
The unit does not respond. Remove the power cord and all other power supplies from the device, and then plug in the unit again after one minute.
The sound is distorted when playing the record. Place the stylus in the centre.
Unit gets warm after extended play at high volume, Turn the unit off a period of time or lower volume.

2. Your DAB / FM Radio

In the Box

Carefully remove your DAB / FM Radio from the box. Inside the box you will find:

Mains Power

Your DAB DIGITAL/FM Radio uses a DC 5V 1A power adapter. Please ensure that your mains supply is compatible before use.

Position DAB / FM Radio

Place on a flat, stable surface that is not subject to vibrations. Avoid the following locations:

  • Where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
  • Where it is close to heat radiating sources.
  • Where the humidity is high and ventilation is poor.
  • Where it is dusty.

Adjusting the Aerial

Fully extend the aerial to ensure good reception in both DAB and FM Radio modes. It may be necessary to alter the position of the DAB DIGITAL/FM Radio and/or the aerial to achieve the best signal.

Insert 4×1.5V AA batteries into battery compartment (4×1.5V AA battery not included).

CAUTION
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

Quick Setup

Connecting the Power

  1. Insert the power adapter to the 5V DC Micro USB port on your DAB / FM Radio, or insert 4 x 1.5V AA batteries in to battery compartment (4 x 1.5 AA battery not included).
  2. Insert the power adapter into a suitable mains socket.
  3. Slide the ON/OFF switch button on the back of your DAB / FM Radio.

Using your DAB / FM Radio

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna for the best reception possible.
  2. Make sure the DAB DIGITAL/FM Radio has been switched ON.
  3. When powering on for the first time, the radio will perform a DAB station scan automatically. After that the radio will tune in to the last station played before it was turned off.
  4. Press the Power/Mode button to switch between DAB and FM modes.
  5. Press the VOL+ and VOL- control button to increase / decrease the volume.
  6. During scanning the screen will display a slide bar that indicates the progress of the scan, and the amount of radio stations that have been found so far. Once the scan has finished, the radio will select the first alphanumeric station.
  7. Slide the ON/OFF switch button to OFF position to turn the DAB DIGITAL/FM Radio off.

Note: Press and hold Power/Mode button and unit will go to standby mode. Press the Power/Mode button to turn on from standby mode.

Operation

DAB Operation

When you slide the ON/OFF switch button to ON the DAB DIGITAL/FM Radio again after a switch off. It will automatically tune into the same station (DAB of FM) that was last selected. Make sure it is DAB mode.

Full Scan

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna for the best reception possible.
  2. Slide the OFF/ON switch to the ON position on the back of your DAB Radio to power up the DAB Radio.
  3. A full scan will automatically commence. The unit will search for all available DAB stations.

Storing Stations

  1. You can store up to 10 DAB stations to the memory presets for quick and easy recall of your favourite stations.
  2. To store a preset, you must first be listening to the station that you would like to save. Press and hold the PRESET button. The display will show “Preset Store<#:(Empty)>”. If a station is already stored. The display will show ”<#: Station name>”.
  3. Press the PRE/NEXT buttons to select the preset station number 1-10.
  4. Press the PRE/NEXT buttons to select the preset station number 1-10.
  5. To save to the selected preset station number, press the OK button. The display will then show” Preset# stored”.

Recalling Stored Stations

Once you have saved a station to one of the preset buttons, you can:

  1. Press the PRESET button and press the PREV/NEXT button to select your desired preset station’s number.
  2. Press the OK button to recall a preset station number.

Information on DAB Mode

  1. Press the INFO/MENU button repeatedly to show the different program information.
  2. Signal Strength: Displays a signal bar with the strength of the current station.
  3. Bit Error Rate(BER): Provides details of the signal error rate.
  4. Channel and Frequency: Displays the station’s transmission channel number and frequency.
  5. PTY (Program Type): Shows the type and description of the program provided by the DAB station.
  6. Time and Date: Displays the time and date information provided by the broadcaster.
  7. Dynamic Label Segment(DLS): Displays scrolling text information supplied by the broadcaster.
  8. Bit Rate: The data rate of which the signal is being transmitted.

Removing Stations

  1. When the DAB DIGITAL/FM Radio has performed a Scan in several locations you may find there are stored stations that you can no longer receive. This function automatically removes them from the stored station list.
  2. Press and hold the INFO/MENU button to enter Prune, then press the OK to confirm and select YES then press OK button to remove.

FM Operation

In order to switch the DAB DIGITAL/FM Radio from DAB to FM mode, press the POWER/MODE button once.

Auto Scan

  1. To search for an FM station, press and hold the NEXT button. This will start scanning up the frequency band.
  2. To scan down the frequency band. Press and hold the PREV button.
  3. Once a station has been found. the scanning will stop automatically. If no station is found, then the tuning will stop one it has cycled through the entire FM band (87.5-108 MHz).

Manual Scan

To search FM stations manually, simply press the PREV/NEXT buttons repeatedly until your desired frequency is reached.

Storing Stations

  1. You can store up to 10 FM stations to the memory presets for quick and easy recall of your favourite stations.
  2. To store a preset, you must first be listening to the station that you would like to save. Press and hold the PRESET button. The display will show “Preset store <#:(Empty)>”. If a station is already stored, the display will show “<#: Station frequency>”.
  3. Press the PREV/NEXT button to select the preset station number 1-10.
  4. To save to the selected preset station number, press the OK button. The display will then show “Preset # stored”.

Recalling Stored Stations

Once you saved a station to one of the preset buttons, you can:

  1. Press the PRESET button and press the PREV/NEXT buttons to select your desired preset station’s number.
  2. Press the OK button to recall a preset station number.

Station Information on FM Mode

Press the INFO/MENU button repeatedly to show the different program information.

Program Type: Displays a description of the type of program provided by the broadcaster.
Signal Strength: Displays a signal bar with the strength of the current station.
Time and Date: Displays the time and the date.
Frequency: Displays the station’s transmission frequency.
Audio Type: Displays the audio type of the station you are listening to. It will either be Stereo or Mono.
Radio Text: Displays scrolling test information supplied by the broadcaster.

System Settings

Switch the ON/OFF button to position ON to turn on the unit, Press and hold the Power/Mode button into standby mode. press and hold the INFO/MENU. This will open the “Set Menu”. Press the PREV/NEXT buttons to select your desired Sub-option between:

Setting the Time/Date

  1. Press the OK button, the hour digitals will flash.
  2. Press the PREV/NEXT buttons to set the hour correctly.
  3. Press the OK button to confirm.
  4. Repeat the last two steps to set the minutes, the Year, Month, Date.

System Version

You can check the software version number

Factory Reset/ Resetting the Radio

Resetting the Radio will delete all the tuned DAB stations and all the preset memory stations in FM and DAB modes. To reset the radio:

  1. Press and hold the INFO/MENU button.
  2. Press the NEXT button repeatedly until “Factory Reset” is displayed on the screen.
  3. Press the OK button and the display will show “Factory Reset?”, Press the NEXT button until the word “YES” is flashing.
  4. Press the OK button again, this will reset the radio.

Alarm Setting

  1. Press the OK button to use Alarm 1 or press next to access Alarm2.
  2. Press the NEXT button so the word ”ON” is flashing and press OK button to confi.
  3. The hour digits for the alarm will flash, press the PREV or NEXT to change the hour and press the OK button to confirm.
  4. Press the PREV or NEXT button to change the minute and press the OK button to confirm.
  5. Press the PREV or NEXT button to change the volume and press the OK button to confirm.
  6. Press the PREV or NEXT button to change between Alarm-DAB-FM and press the OK button to confirm.
  7. Press the PREV or NEXT button to select between ONCE-DAILY-WEEKENDS and press the OK button to confirm.
  8. To set the Alarm 2, follow the Alarm 1 instructions.

Note: You can press the INFO/MENU button to get back last one step when in the process of setting the alarm.

Turn off the Alarm

To turn off the alarm, press the NEXT button so the word “OFF” is flashing and press OK button. The alarm is now OFF.

Turn off the Alarm when Sounding

Press the POWER/MODE button to turn off the alarm when sounding.

Note: The alarm will keep ringing for one hour if you do not turn it off when it is sounding.

Sleep Setting

  1. Press the PREV or NEXT button to select either OFF-120-90-60-45-30-15-5 minutes.
  2. Press the OK button to confirm your selection.

Language Setting

Press the OK button to select the language you want and press the OK button to confirm.

FM Scan Setting

Turn on the unit and state at FM mode, Press and hold the INFO/MENU button, press the next button into FM scan setting, to select Only or All. If select Only, the radio only scan the strong signal station and play. If select All, the radio will also scan the weak signal station and play.

Snooze Function

  1. When the alarm sounds, press the OK button to delay the alarm for another 9 mins. The radio will go to Standby mode.
  2. You can press POWER/MODE button to stop the Snooze function and go to the operation mode before the alarms rings.

Connect your speaker using a LINE IN connection.

Quick Setup

Charging your Bluetooth Waterproof Speaker

Your waterproof speaker has a built-in rechargeable battery so it can be used anywhere indoors or outdoors. Before using it for the first time please fully charge the battery.
To charge, open the silicone control panel cover on the backside of your waterproof speaker.
Connect the USB cable provided to the USB port on your waterproof speaker.
Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB port on your computer or a 5V 1A USB wall charger. A wall charger is not included. When your waterproof speaker is charging the LED indicator will be RED.
When the waterproof speaker is fully charged the RED LED indicator will turn off.
When charging is completed, remove the USB cable and make sure that the silicon cover is closed.

Note: When the battery is getting low, the low battery warning alert will sound, when you hear this, please re-charge the battery. 

Pairing with a Bluetooth Device
  1. Press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds until you hear the prompt tone, the LED indicator will show a blue flashing light.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your Smartphone and search for available Bluetooth connections.
    Select “GOODMANS WATERPROOF SPKR” from the list of devices.
  3. When successfully paired, you will hear the prompt tone.
  4. Once you have paired the waterproof speaker with a smartphone or Bluetooth device, the waterproof speaker will remember this device and will pair automatically when the  device’s
  5. Bluetooth is activated and in range, you do not need to re-pair any previously connected devices.
    The Waterproof Speaker will attempt to automatically connect to the last device it was paired with if Bluetooth mode is turned on. If you want to pair it with a new device,  please turn off your last Bluetooth device and then use your new device to search and select the pairing name.
 Playing Your Music

When your Smartphone or Bluetooth device is paired to the waterproof Speaker, use your music app to play back your music.

Using the Line-in Function
  1. If your device doesn’t have Bluetooth, you can use the Line-in connection.
  2. Open the silicone control panel cover on the backside of your waterproof speaker.
  3. When using the Line-in function, the waterproof speaker will be not waterproof.
  4. Connect the Line-in cable to the waterproof speaker and connect the other end to your device.
  5. Select your music on your device and Play.

Note: When a Line In cable is connected your waterproof speaker will automatically disconnect from your Bluetooth devices. 

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
I can’t pair the waterproof speaker with my Bluetooth devices. Turn On the waterproof speaker.
Make sure that the Line-in cable is not connected.
Make sure that the indicator LED is flashing blue.
If it is not flashing blue, it is already paired to another device. Un-pair that device and try again.
I can’t hear my music. Turn the waterproof speaker ON.
Using the volume control on your device to turn the volume up.
I can’t turn ON my waterproof speaker. Make sure that the waterproof speaker is fully charged.
Press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to turn it ON.
My device keeps disconnecting from the waterproof speaker. Make sure the waterproof speaker is fully charged.
If the Line-in cable is connected, removed it.
Make sure that your device is not further than
10 meters away from the waterproof speaker.

Quick Set Up

Charging your Portable Charger:
  1. Please use the Micro USB connection cable that is included in your pack. Connect the cable to Micro USB input port on the Portable Charger.
  2. Please connect the other end to your computer USB port or any other USB power source.
  3. You can also use a Type-C charger cable (not supplied) to charge this Powerbank.
Charging your iPod, iPhone, Smart Phone or other USB devices
  1. Ensure that your Portable Charger is fully charged.
  2. Use your device’s USB charging cable that is applicable to charge your device (not included). The display will indicate the power level remaining on the charger.
  3. Charge 2 devices at the same time using the 2 USB output ports.

Note: The display will turn off by itself after approximately 5 seconds after disconnecting the charge cable.
When using the Portable Charger to charge your mobile device, if there is no indicator light, please check your device to ensure it is charging.

Cleaning and Maintenance

If necessary, please use a soft cloth to clean the Portable Charger.

  • Do not expose the Portable Charger to liquid, moisture or humidity.
  • Do not use any abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the Portable Charger, as this can cause damage.
  • Do not expose the Portable Charger to sharp objects, which may cause damage.
  • Do not expose the Portable Charger to extremely high or low temperatures.
  • Do not drop the Portable Charger.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the Portable Charger, as this may cause damage to the unit.
  • Do not dispose of the Portable Charger in the fire.

Storage

Before storing the Portable Charger, ensure that it is clean and dry. Store in a cool and dry place.

Troubleshooting

Problem Cause What to do
Portable Charger cannot be charged The USB cable is not connected properly Connect the USB cable correctly.
The display does not tum on after pressing the power switch The battery power is exhausted. Recharge the Portable Charger and then check the display.
Portable Charger charging time is short The remaining battery power is high and hasn’t exhausted. Continue to use as normal.
Portable Charger cannot supply power to a portable device or the power indicator lights do not tum on The USB cable between the Portable Charger and the portable device is not connected properly Reconnect the USB cable.
The remaining battery power is low. Recharge the Portable Charger.
Press the On/Off button to switch on the Portable Charger and make sure that the portable device is in charging mode. Tum the portable device on before charging.
The charge time to the portable device is too short The connector or USB port on the portable device is dirty. Please use dry cloth to Clean it
The Portable Charger is out of power Recharge the Portable Charger.
Charging time is longer than usual The temperature of the surrounding environment is having an effect on the operation of the Portable Charger. Move the unit into a more suitable climate.
The USB cable cannot connect properly Check the USB cable and ensure that the cable that was supplied with the Portable Charger is used.

Some dust, etc., may be in the USB port.

Please use dry cloth or cleaning brush to clean the USB port.

GETTING STARTED:

Follow the instructions below to charge and power on your Smart Watch.

  • Open the cover on the charger stand and place the smart watch inside (making sure the charger pins are connected). Snap the cover shut.
  • Connect the USB charger to a suitable USB port to start charging your smart watch.
  • Your smart watch should be fully charged in approximately 2 hours.

Quick Setup

Charging Your Portable Bluetooth Speaker
  1. Your Portable Bluetooth Speaker has a built in rechargeable battery. Before using it for the first time please fully charge the battery.
  2. Insert the charging cable into the micro USB port on the unit.
  3. Connect the USB plug into a PC or AC/DC adapter (not included). When the LED indicator is Red, the speaker is charging. Charging will take approximately 3 hours.
  4. When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator light will turn off. Please remove the charging cable once your speaker is fully charged.
  5. If no audio signal is detected for 30 minutes, it will automatically enter standby mode.

Note: When charging your speaker for the first time, please charge for 12 hours. Please make sure to charge your battery regularly, If the battery is not charged or used for a long time, it could cause damage to the battery.

Pairing With a Bluetooth Device
  1. Press and hold the power button to turn your speaker on. You will hear “Bluetooth Mode, pairing”. The Blue indicator light will flash.
  2. Using your Bluetooth phone or Bluetooth device, turn on Bluetooth and search for Bluetooth devices.
  3. Select “GOODMANS MINI SPKR” from the list of devices. If you are asked for a pass code enter “0000”.
  4. When successfully paired, you will hear “connected”.
  5. Once you have paired the speaker with a phone or Bluetooth device, the speaker will remember this device and will pair automatically when the device’s Bluetooth is activated and in range. You do not need to re-pair any previously connected devices.
  6. The speaker will attempt to automatically connect to the last device it was paired with if Bluetooth mode is turned on. If you want to pair it with a new device. Please hold down the Play / Pause button until you hear “disconnected” . Then use your new device to search and select the pairing name, using the instructions above.

Playing Your Music

When your phone or Bluetooth device is paired to the Portable Bluetooth Speaker, use your music app to play your music.

Using the Line-in Connection
  1. If your device doesn’t have Bluetooth, you can use the Line-in connection.
  2. Press and hold the power button to turn your speaker on and connect the line in cable to the Portable Bluetooth Speaker and connect the other end to your music device.
  3. Select your music on your device and Play.

Using the USB Function
  1. Press and hold the power button to turn your speaker on.
  2. Insert a USB into the USB port. It will automatically play the music.

Using the TF Card Function
  1. Press and hold the power button to turn your speaker on.
  2. Insert a TF card into the TF card slot. It will automatically play the music.

Note: When you connected Line-in cable or insert USB / TF card, your Portable Bluetooth Speaker will automatically disconnect with your Bluetooth devices.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
I can’t turn on my Speaker Recharge the built-in battery.
I can’t pair the Bluetooth Speaker with my Bluetooth device. Turn on the Bluetooth Speaker.
Make sure Bluetooth mode is selected and the blue indicator light is flashing.
If the Blue indicator light is not flashing, it is already paired to another device. Unpair that device and try again.
I can’t hear my music. Increase the volume level by holding down the + button.
Increase the volume level of your music device.
My device keeps disconnecting from the Speaker. Make sure that your Bluetooth device is within range and no further than 10 meters away from the Speaker.

Mains Power

Your DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth uses a DC 5V 1A power adaptor.
Please ensure that your mains supply is compatible before use.

Position Of DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth

Place on a flat, stable surface that is not subject to vibrations. Avoid the following locations:

  • Where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
  • Where it is close to heat radiating sources.
  •  Where the humidity is high and ventilation is poor.
  • Where it is dusty.
Adjusting the Aerial

Fully extend the aerial to ensure good reception in both DAB and FM Radio modes. It may be necessary to alter the position of the DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth and/or the aerial to achieve the best signal.

Quick Setup

Connecting The Power
  1. Insert the power adaptor to the DC 5V IN port port on your DAB
    Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth, or insert 4 x 1.5V C batteries in to battery compartment (4 x 1.5 C batteries not included).
  2. Insert the power adaptor into a suitable mains socket.
    Press the Power button on your DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth.
Using Your DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth
  1.  Extend the telescopic antenna for the best reception possible.
  2. Make sure the DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth has been switched ON.
    When you power ON the radio again after it has been switched off, it will automatically tune into the same station (DAB or FM or BT) that was last selected.
  3. Press the Mode button to switch between DAB / FM / BT modes.
  4.  Transfer the VOL+ and VOL- knob to increase / decrease the volume.
  5. During scanning the screen will display the progress of the scan, and the amount of radio stations that have been found so far. Once the scan has finished, the radio will select the first alphanumeric station.
  6. Hold the power button to turn off the DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth.

Note: Press the power button once will go to standby mode.

Pairing with a Bluetooth Device
  1. Make sure the DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth has beenswitched ON. Press the MODE button to select Bluetooth mode, and the LCD display will show “Bluetooth Pairing”.
  2.  Enable Bluetooth on your Smartphone and search for Bluetooth connections, selet “GOODMANS DAB” from the list of devices. You are asked for a pass code enter “0000”.
  3.  When successfully paired, the LCD display will show “Bluetooth Paired Pause”.
  4. Once you have paired the DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth with a smartphone or Bluetooth devices, it will remember this devices and will pair automatically when the device’s Bluetooth is activated and in range, you do not need to re-pair any previousely connected devices under Bluetooth mode.
  5.  The DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth will attempt to automatically connect to the last device it was paired with if
    Bluetooth mode is turned on. If you want to pair it with a new device, please hold the OK / VOL+ / VOL- button until the LCD display show “Bluetooth Pairing” and then use your new device to search and select the pairing name.

Operation

DAB Operation

When you press the Power button to turn on the DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth again after a switch off. It will automatically tune into the same station (DAB / FM / BT) that was last selected.

Full Scan
  1. Extend the telescopic antenna for the best reception possible.
  2. Press the Power button to power up the DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth, and select DAB mode.
  3. Press the Scan button will automatically commence. The unit will search for all available DAB stations.
Storing Stations
  1. You can store up to 10 DAB+ stations to the memory presets for quick and easy recall of your favorite stations.
  2. To store a preset, you must first be listening to the station that you would like to save. Press and hold the PRESET button. The display will show “Preset Store<#:(Empty)>”. If a station is already stored. The display will show ”<#: Station name>”.
  3. Press the Previous / Next buttons to select the preset station number 1-10.
  4. To save to the selected preset station number, press the OK button.The display  will then show” Preset# stored”.
Recalling Stored Stations

Once you have saved a station to one of the preset buttons, you can:

  1. Press the PRESET button and press the Previous / Next button to select your desired preset station’s number.
  2. Press the OK button to recall a preset station number.
Stations Information on DAB Mode

Press the INFO/MENU button repeatedly to show the different program information.

  • Signal Strength: Displays a signal bar with the strength of the current station.
  • Bit Error Rate(BER): Provides details of the signal error rate.
  • Channel and Frequency: Displays the station’s transmission channel number and frequency.
  • PTY (Program Type): Shows the type and description of the program provided by the DAB station.
  • Time and Date: Displays the time and date information provided by the broadcaster.
  • Dynamic Label Segment(DLS): Displays scrolling text information supplied by the broadcaster.
  • Bit Rate: The data rate of which the signal is being transmitted.
Pruning
  1. When the DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth has performed a Scan in several locations you may find there are stored stations that you can no longer  receive. This function automatically removes them from the stored station list.
  2. Press and hold the MENU/INFO button to enter Prune, then press the OK to confirm and select YES then press OK button to remove.

FM operation

In order to switch the DAB Digital / FM Radio with Bluetooth from DAB to FM mode, press the MODE button.

Auto Scan
  1. To search for an FM station, press Scan. This will start scanning the frequency band.
  2.  Once a station has been found. the scanning will stop automatically. If no station is found, then the tuning will stop one it has cycled through the entire FM band (87.5-108 MHz).
Manual Scan

To search FM stations manually, simply press the Previous / Next buttons repeatedly until your desired frequency is reached.

Storing Stations
  1.  You can store up to 10 FM stations to the memory presets for quick and easy recall of your favourite stations.
  2. To store a preset, you must first be listening to the station that you would like to save. Press and hold the PRESET button. The display will show “Preset store <#:(Empty)>”. If a station is already stored, the display will show “<#: Station frequency>”.
  3.  Press the Previous / Next button to select the preset station number 1-10.
  4. To save to the selected preset station number, press the OK button. The display will then show “Preset # stored”.

Recalling a Stored Stations

Once you saved a station to one of the preset buttons, you can:

  1.  Press the PRESET button and press the Previous / Next buttons toselect  your desired preset station’s number.
  2. Press the OK button to recall a preset station number.
Station Information on FM Mode

Press the MENU/INFO button repeatedly to show the different program information.

  • Program Type: Displays a description of the type of program provided by the broadcaster.
  • Signal Strength: Displays a signal bar with the strength of the current station.
  • Time and Date: Displays the time and the date.
  • Frequency: Displays the station’s transmission frequency.
  • Radio Text: Displays scrolling test information supplied by the broadcaster.

System Settings

With the unit is turned on press and hold the MENU/INFO button.
This will open the “Set Menu”.
Press the Previous / Next buttons to select your desired Sub-option between:

Setting The Time/Date
  1.  Press the OK button, the hour digitals will flash.
  2. Press the Previous / Next buttons to set the hour correctly.
  3. Press the OK button to confirm.
  4. Repeat the last two steps to set the minutes, the Year, Month, Date.
System Version

You can check the software version number.

Factory Reset/ Resetting the Radio

Resetting the radio will delete all the tuned DAB stations and all the preset memory stations in FM and DAB modes. To reset the radio:

  1. Press and hold the MENU/INFO button.
  2. Press the Next button repeatedly until “Factory Reset” is displayed on the screen.
  3. Press the OK button and the display will show “Factory Reset?”, Press the Next button to select “YES”.
  4. Press the OK button again, this will reset the radio.
Alarm Setting
  1. Press the Alarm button to use Alarm 1 or press Next to access Alarm 2.
  2. Press the OK button so the word ” ON ” is flashing and press OK button again to confirm.
  3. The hour digits for the alarm will flash, press the Provious or Nextto change  the hour and press the OK button to confirm.
  4. Press the Previous or Next button to change the minute and press the OK button to confirm.
  5. Press the Previous or Next button to change the volume and press the OK button to confirm.
  6. Press the Previous or Next button to change between Alarm-DAB-FM and press the OK button to confirm.
  7. Press the Previous or Next button to select between ONCE-DAILY-WEEKENDS and press the OK button to confirm.
  8. To set the Alarm 2, follow the Alarm 1 instructions.

Note: You can press the MENU/INFO button to get back last one step when in the process of setting the alarm.

Turn off the Alarm

To turn off the alarm, press the Next button so the word “OFF” is flashing and press OK button. The alarm is now OFF.

Turn off the Alarm when Sounding

Press the Power button to turn off the alarm when sounding.

Note: The alarm will keep ringing for one hour if you do not turn it off when it is sounding.

Sleep Setting
  1. Press and hold the Alarm button to set Sleep.
  2. Press the Previous / Next button to select either OFF-120-90-60-45-30-15-5 minutes.
  3. Press the OK button to confirm your selection.
Language Setting

Press the OK button to select the language you want and press the OK button to confirm.

FM Scan Setting

Turn on the unit and state at FM mode, Press and hold the MENU/INFO button, press the next button into FM scan setting, to elect Only or All. If select Only, the  radio only scans the strong signal station and play. If select All, the radio will also scan the weak signal station and play.

Snooze Function
  1. When the alarm sounds, press the OK button to delay the alarm for another 9 mins. The radio will go to Standby mode.
  2. You can press Power button to stop the Snooze function and goto the  operation mode before the alarms rings.
Problem What to do
No sound. The station is not tuned in. Fine tune the station.
The volume is set to a low position. Increase the volume.
FM: Static sound DAB+: Burbling/ Intermittent cut-out. Signal reception is too low.
Adjust the aerial or move the unit to a stronger signal location.
Rescan stations.
Sound is distorted. The volume is too high. Adjust the volume control.
Desired station not found short. Weak signal. Use the manual tune function.
Display shows “No Service”. There is no DAB+ coverage in your area, or poor reception. Adjust the position of the aerial, or move the unit to a stronger signal location.
Display is blank. This may occur if the broadcaster changes the label of a service or removes a label while tuned. The unit will try to retune or perform a scan.
